  1. Never about winning......just trying to understand why one is so fixated about Wentz that they can't stop referring to him on a 2022 Colts thread....its yesterday's news.
  2. Not a Wentz fan at all. Just not sure why you still bring it up, and made comments about his interceptions in game 1 of this season? Especially after throwing 4 TD’s and leading his team to a win. Played better than the current Colts QB who seemed to have trouble holding onto snaps. I know you don’t like the guy…and I bet if I want to burn some energy, I can find statements made by you about his Covid stance last season, while saying nothing about Q or Leonard for having the exact position. Not sure why you keep going back…
  3. I don't know who you are...don't really care. Learned a long time it takes 2 people to have a good tennis match. You're going to need to hit your ball against the wall if you wish to keep playing. Enjoy the rest of your day....
  4. You are repeating the same message to me that I was saying...not sure why Wentz was brought up. But then again, I don't own GID, so its not my place to tell anyone what to bring up....nor anyone else for that matter. Ignore the subject if its not for you.
  5. I know the fans are committed....no doubt. I know they have great facilities. But I don't see their recruiting scores under the last couple of coaches anywhere near some of the top programs. I am not so sure I agree with you about Central Florida....I need to go back and compare the last 5-10 recruiting classes or so....and now Central Florida is moving into the Big 12. Fan following is great....just not sure it alone hooks 4 and 5 star level kids today.....not like it used to at Nebraska
  6. Agree....I didn't post negatives about Wentz...
  7. I get it....but there were some on this very forum that made comments about his Covid stance....pretty sure my response was directed to one of those people. Regardless, time to let it go...he doesn't play here any longer, and to throw negative comments at a guy who threw 4 TD's and led his team to a W opening week, sounds like nothing but sour grapes. I wish we would have gotten that performance in Indy in week 1.
  8. Maybe there is an answer….
  9. I don't think its right, but we live in a society today that rips these same kids on social media....people that have not come close to playing a sport at their level rip them to shreds on social media. Not sure that will cease inside a stadium.
  10. Not disagreeing, but I have to wonder that its been so long since Nebraska has been of national relevance, that kids today don't link with their old tradition, and simply aren't excited about spending 4 years in Lincoln with coaching staffs that frequently turnover? Frost had talent in Florida....I don't think the guy forgot to coach. Its about players. Kind of sad....I grew up with Nebraska as a powerhouse....used to watch them come into Bloomington and thrash IU. Heisman trophy candidates and high draft picks. Those days seem long ago......
  11. Jacksonville....something the Colts haven't had much luck in a number of years, especially in Florida.... I don't consider this Sunday a given...especially if they come out like they did against Houston I just thought it was interesting that Wentz isn't in Indy anymore and you continue to disparge him....especially a day after he throws 4 TD's and his teams wins, which is something Indy couldn't do against the hapless Texans. I get it...Wentz didn't get a Covid shot.....let it go....he's gone. If you want to stay on the anti-vaccine thing, go after Leonard and Q. At least they are still here in Indy and somehow escaped the wrath that Wentz took.
  12. Another article….. https://www.si.com/college/ohiostate/football/ohio-state-freshman-caden-curry-earning-playing-time-at-defensive-end
  13. I feel ya.....
  14. Caden had a nice game last Saturday making an instant impact....he now has them talking at OSU. Keep it going young man!! https://www.cleveland.com/osu/2022/09/caden-curry-on-his-way-to-carving-out-a-role-for-ohio-state-football-according-to-ryan-day-and-jim-knowles.html https://saturdaytradition.com/ohio-state-football/caden-curry-ohio-state-freshman-draws-rave-review-from-buckeye-coaching-staff/ https://www.dispatch.com/story/sports/college/football/2022/09/10/caden-curry-shines-in-first-snaps-on-ohio-state-defensive-line/69482168007/
  15. 4 >2 His team won the game....they didn't lose or tie. Maybe because of these 2 reasons, they are giving him a break on the 2 picks. Bottom line, he was a target of Doyel and his IndyStar tabloid style writers.
  16. Good insights....plus didnt BD play their game against Brownsburg away from home without their starting QB?
  17. Sun Belt is a very tough mid-major conference. With the transfer portal like it is, players from really good programs end up at mid-majors and I don't think they are as intimidated. Marshall roster picked up 24 transfers during the off-season......transfers from Florida State, Penn State, Texas Tech, etc. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/34570748/marshall-coach-charles-huff-says-intimidation-window-traditional-powerhouses-notre-dame Now, should they have beaten ND, especially in their house????
  18. With the bickering, you should change the thread to "Shemp's Top 25"........
  19. That might be pushing it....first half, they were slapped around by a FCS team. I do like the play of true frosh McCullough....and Cam Jones....but they need a ton of help
  20. I think you are correct...although it will be interesting to see if any significant development starts in northern Morgan County, just south of SR144, which is the last Center Grove exit in Johnson County. (that may feed the Mooresville school system)
  21. While that is true, it is still land that includes or connects directly to Greenwood. I am not sure why Greenwood gave us so much school district land either in or just outside their city limits to Whiteland...perhaps they are limited on growth options. Regardless, I think most people in Johnson County consider Whiteland and Franklin to be mid Johnson county in terms of their location. Is that still Indy metro area? I would say so being a donut county.
  22. or the classic drum roll......
