    Hearing a lot of good things coming out of Northridge Camp and also some new additions to the roster. Look for big improvements from the Raiders under coach Amstutz. Also hearing the same out of Northwood's camp.

    Plymouth is the school. The past 10 years Plymouth, Wawasee, and Goshen have been a revolving door as far as head coaches and now with the open transfer being allowed all 3 are seeing a number of players leave for the other schools who have much more stable programs.

    With half the schools in the NLC having new coaches for the 2026 season, who has the biggest impact and change on their team? Also, any talk of transfers of players with int the conference? I know the QB from Northwood has moved to Concord.

    I see Plymouth is hiring the former Rochester head coach. Looks like a great hire for the Pilgrims. Any word out of Northridge?

    Any news on the openings at Plymouth, Northridge, and Mishawaka Marian? Will they look to fill those positions now or wait till spring when they know what teaching openings they have for next year?

    Boy's and Girl's basketball, Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, Boys' and Girl's soccer all do not seed their tournament.

    I am not sure what happened with Elkhart. A lot of preseason hype with the D1 Transfers but sure didn't show in the record. Defense was suspect all year and O-line struggled a lot.

    Yes Elkhart's defense gave up a lot of points this year.

    Carroll destroyed Elkhart. Lopsided game. Elkhart's defense had no clue on how to even attempted to stop them.

    Michiana Sports reports Adam Handley has been fired as Head Football Coach at Plymouth. Surprising as Plymouth ended their season almost upsetting #2 Mishawka loosing 21-17 in sectional.

    Elkhart was a disappointment. O-line looked bad and defense put up very little resistance. These two things were issues for the Lions all year and have to improve if they ever want to win a championship. D-! power 4 receiver and very talented QB were not enough

    If Elkhart can fix their O-line issues and issues on defense they will win this one. IF not then they are done.

    Obvious in the video that an illegal forward pass happened. If this wasn't the call then what was?

    The call was illegal forward pass. The penalty is loss of down and does not extend a half if accepted. By the way the rule reads the game should have been over.

    Wawasee though not small at 900 students is one of the smaller schools in the NLC with Northwood and Plymouth. Elkhart wanted in as Memorial was a member but when Elkhart became 1 school of over 3000 students the NLC didn't want them. Mishawaka couldn't jump fast enough to take Memorial's place. It has been a great move for Mishawaka both competitively and financially

    I am hearing Wawasee is looking to drop out of the NLC. They have been a member for over 50years so not sure what the reason is.

    Was also disappointed with the Elkhart Defense. Took a lot of risk and chances against Penn and got exploited. The Lions need to fix the O-line and Defense or it's going to be 1 and done again come sectional time.

    I see Northridge has finally gotten their first win. What has happened at Wawasee? Open the season with a win over Jimtown but have lost to Goshen and a winless Northridge badly over the last two weeks.

    I get Elkhart being committed to throwing the ball with the talent they have at receiver and the QB who they brought in. I just would think you would try and protect better if this is your offense.

    Elkhart probably won't have any problems with their last 2 opponents, but this team has regressed and did not look good against Penn. What is the issue with the O-line. We get a Big Ten recruit transfer in at wideout and a top transfer at QB but we can't take advantage of them as we can't protect. Have to get it fixed before playoffs.

    The way Elkhart's defense has been playing and now St. Joe having shown how the O-line can be exploited I don't see this game being very close.

    What has happened at Northridge? 3-7 last year and have started 0-6 this year. The new coach's first few years were successful but they have fallen on hard times the last couple of years.

    Don't count Warsaw out yet. Last year we wrote them off after loosing to Plymouth and the Tigers ended ups making it to Lucas Oil. Concord's win is impressive. Mishawaka may be the real deal. I hear they had 53 by half this week and actually threw the ball some.

    With what Elkhart has returning and the D1 transfers coming in this could be the year for a long run in the playoffs which is something Elkhart has never had. A lot of college recruiting attention. Hearing their junior linebacker is getting SEC looks.
