  2. Knox @ North Judson South Central @ Wheeler LaVille @ Triton Central Noble @ Culver Caston @ Whitko West Central @ Winamac Northfield @ North Miami Pioneer @ Lewis Cass as far as standings for the year in conference its Pioneer until proved otherwise. Then Judson and NM. After them it’s a battle for 4-8.
  3. If Max Preps is right Pioneer has had 5 turnovers. 2 fumbles and 3 INTs. South Adams has 14 INT’s, 12 fumbles with only 2 being lost leaving a total of 16 turnovers. I don’t think Pioneers offense can be stopped. They had 2 drives last Friday (minus the last one) that didn’t end in points and those were the 2 fumbles. It’ll be close but who ever turns the ball over will be the one who loses. Pioneer by by a TD.
  4. Caston at Pioneer- I think this will be a lot closer than some are thinking. Sectionals last year, they came out and shocked the Panthers, but fell 20-0. I could see it being close, but I can also see a blowout. Either way, Pioneer will take this one. 35-7 North Judson at North Miami - North Judson's first big conference challenge comes from North Miami. North Miami has had troubles with turnovers and had a close game with Caston recently. If they clear up the QB center exchange then I see no reason why they can't win it. North Judson's young squad will have a challenge, especially with Sancjez sitting out. Give me North Judson 14 North Miami 21. SCUM at Triton- This should not be close. Triton 56-0 Winamac at Culver- Culver has a solid player this year. But I don't think one player can win a game. I think with Winamac's Sophomore QB and their big HB/FB they will be too much for Culver. 21-7 Winamac.
  5. This also. I don’t see a close game here.
  6. That’s good to hear on that part. I think that’s his missing part from being a good player to a great player was his mentality. After talking to some people between yesterday and now he is at Pioneer.
  7. I think the only surprise this week would be how close Pioneer keeps the score against Knox. Went back and read up some comments about Winamac. I’ve seen that Adriano kid play. Great athlete but isn’t a very good teammate. Things could’ve changed in a year. But from the last time I saw him it wasn’t good. I also heard Winamac had the #1 rated QB in Indiana for the 8th grade class but he moved to Pioneer. Can anyone confirm that?
  8. I ment to say it was North Judson and Knox game 😂 I was in a hurry!
  9. Attica at Culver: Attica and Culver are gonna fight for their first win of the year after struggling last year. Culver will take it though in a tight game. Bowman at SCUM: don’t know much about either yet so this is a toss up for me. I’ll take SCUM. Caston at Carroll: Caston has a great Freshman class coming in but Carroll is going to be coming out guns blazing. Carroll will take it by 3 touchdowns. Knox at NJ: Knox returns most of their good skill players and I think that’ll be the difference. The trenches will be fun to watch. Knox by 14. LaVille at Triton: This is mine and also I’d venture to say everyone’s game of the week! This will be a very close game. I think it’ll come down with who has the ball last and I’m going to say it’ll be LaVille at the end. Northfield vs North Miami: New conference team so it’ll be interesting to see them at some point. Northfield is always strong. Northfield by 14. Pioneer at Cass: Pioneer returns a lot of SOPHOMORE players last year that are going to make a difference as Juniors. Could be a close game or a blow out but either way I think Pioneer takes it. West Central at Winamac: I think Winamac pulls out this win in another close game. It’ll be good to see them start strong!
  10. The freshman at QB (Shiloh Rhine) gave Pioneer more options in the run game. Hill at wing helps Pioneer stretch the defense out more than with him at QB in my opinion.
  11. Culver at LaVille- Laville big here. nothing else to say. 51-0 Knox at Caston- Knox big as well. 62-8 North Judson at Pioneer- This one will really be a doozy. It's tough to pinpoint this. If Pioneer comes out firing it think it'll be tough. Pioneer missed their FB and last week it showed just how good he is. Judson has size. Triton at Winamac- Triton big here as well. 42-0 Sounds like the best game will be played in Royal Center this week. Can't wait for it!
  12. Not that they can necessarily score more than them. Just think Caston can stop Winamac from scoring more than Winamac can stop Caston. Now I could be wrong and they could prove it. But I think Caston's back will cause too many problems. Caston held North White QB to only 103 yards when he's averaging 225 yards a game. Not saying their Offense is show-stopping but their defense is what will be the difference.
  13. This 100%. If Winamac can take care of their backers I think it’ll be close. But I think they will disrupt Winamac too much.
  14. I think if it rains it will give more of an edge to Knox in my opinion.
  15. Caston @ Winamac: Caston got a win against a conference team while Winamac won against use to be undefeated West Central team. If this doesn't shows how strong our conference is I don't know what will. I think even though they both got some boost on confidence, I think Caston gets the win here and by a good margin. 21-6 Laville @ North Judson: After last week I think we saw some weakness out of NJ. Laville is a fast team as well and with another solid QB. I think Laville will take this one by 2 touchdowns. 28-14. Pioneer @ Culver: Pioneer finally catches a break in the schedule after play 3 of their toughest 4 games. I think Pioneer takes this time to try some things out. Pioneer takes it 42-7 Triton @ Knox: Knox had a close game against NJ a week before Triton and NJ played and we all were shocked by the outcome of last week. Knox will beat you with hard-nosed football. Triton will kill you with everything else. I think it will be a shoot-out for sure. I could see this game being able to swing either way and it's hard to say who. I personally would like to see Triton take a share of the conference to make things interesting. It will come down to who has the ball last.
