    I know Dwenger crowds are NOTHING what they used to be. But this is semi-state. I bet they show out.

    Nice venue, but not the size of your public school stadiums. Seating on the visiting side is limited, so don't show up at the last minute.

    I have a hard time picking against a team that beat Carmel and took out Fishers by double digits. While this Charger team is pretty good, and I'd argue as good as the team that went to state a few years ago, I think the defense is a bit suspect at times and that will probably be the difference. Carroll will score points, no doubt about that, but they'll be playing from behind most of the game. I'll say Westfield by 10.

    I think "doubt it" meant that he doesn't agree with "Luers playing will split the cyo crowd." To my knowledge Luers fans don't typically go to Dwenger games and vice versa. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think so.

    Snider vs Homestead in academics? Are you kidding me? Why on earth would I want to do that? Honestly, I can't give you a resource backing my claim. I found something one or two years ago that showed Snider having a higher academic rating than the other FWCS's. I'll take your word for it.

    Oh yeah, I was desperate for points. Never expected them to beat Merrillville. Disclosure: Again, needing points even though I have NO chance of winning this thing............hence Concord over Merrillville. I think the Pirates are the team to beat up north.

    Snider back in 5A next season joining Merrillville. Dwenger and East Noble to remain in 4A. Adams Central to 3A. Luers to 4A if they win Friday.

    Maxpreps is showing 7:30. A half hour delay seems to be the norm for Fort Wayne vs South Bend area. Just keep an eye on it.

    Good call. Dwenger's has a nice venue, but not a lot of parking. Note that the game doesn't start until 7:30. Should be fine if you get there at 6:30.
