Rochester. The perfect mediator. Right in the middle. I agree, if it's NW vs NW, I'd say it's pretty even.............well, maybe. NE would get Adams Central, East Noble, Dekalb, and Norwell. At the end of the day, I'm going to have to roll with the SAC. There's not a team in the DAC or Northwest Indiana that has the resume that Snider, Bishop Luers, or Bishop Dwenger does. That's the tie breaker. Much respect to the Region. They have good football up there, it just gets overshadowed by the unlimited resources in Suburban Indy.

That makes sense. It probably came down to someone with ties to Ohio State or Alabama knowing that vacating 21 Notre Dame victories would push those two programs ahead of the Irish.

C'mon @temptation. You can't just laugh and not respond. My intent isn't to attack Michigan, I just can't think of another example off the top of my head. It just seems absurd to me that the NCAA took two years worth of victories away from Notre Dame because a few players cheated on a test. The NCAA knows that half the programs in the country don't even send their kids to classes, and their victories are in tact. It's funny how they attacked the smart kids, while leaving the kids who don't even go to class alone.

Much respect for the region. Without running all the numbers, I've always known they were batting around .500 with the SAC. The question is, which conference is better from top to bottom. I get that the Region has won a lot of good games when it mattered, but that doesn't do much when determining which conference would win in a head to head battle. I've always felt like the two conferences were similar, but overall, I'll take the homer route and give the SAC the edge. If you guys wanna pull rank this year because Sagarin says so, have at it. I won't debate, I'll just stick with "it'll be close." On another note, I'd love to see an asterisk next to Valpo's 3-2 vs Snider due to the snow storm game in 2022. And quite frankly, if those two programs played every year for the past 40 years, it would probably look something like 25-15 in favor of Snider. I know that will piss you off, but at some point, we have to be real.

Serious question. Seems like a double standard. Notre Dame self reports some players cheating on a test (which happens at all universities, but on a larger scale), and the NCAA makes them vacate 21 victories from 2012-2013. The Michigan cheating scandal is much more massive than what happened at Notre Dame (and secretly at every university in the country), but no victories are taken away? How does the NCAA determine which violations constitute stripping away victories?

The SAC is having one of their worst seasons in recent memory, although programs like Northrop and South Side are trending up. Duneland vs SAC's top eight go 4-4 in my opinion. I think it's close. Was there anything at stake for the Greyhounds? Thinking he was resting starters? Not sure what to think of Dwenger to be honest. One part of me says #22. The other part says somewhere between 26-30. Dwenger travels to Leo on Friday, we'll find out more.
