  1. Good commentary. Thanks for the updates.
  2. Lawrence Central 33, Carmel 27 4th Jeff 26, Muncie Central 14 3rd Snider 24, North Side 20 3 minutes to go
  3. Jeff 19, Muncie Central 14 2nd quarter
  4. Lawrence Central 27, Carmel 22 Halftime
  5. Or not. Lawrence Central 27, Carmel 19 2nd quarter Elder 21, Chatard 0 2nd quarter
  6. Who knows. I had Ben Davis on par with Homestead. I'm sure Carmel will wake up and win by 14+.
  7. I know Carmel was up 19-7 at one point.
  8. Lawrence Central 20, Carmel 19 2nd quarter
  9. Carroll 21, Luers 0 2nd quarter You're welcome @Rodney
  10. I wouldn't be so sure. Although I think the line would be somewhere between 17-21 points, it wouldn't surprise me if either team made that game somewhat interesting.
  11. Since this is 2025, not 1890-2023, I think Indiana can trash talk anyone they want to. I mean, as long as you can back it up. "Google me."
  12. If you're good, you're good. Although I'm an advocate for playing good teams to prepare for the tournament, sometimes it really just doesn't matter. Will it come back to bite Jeff when they take on Merrillville, New Pal, or Cathedral? Maybe. At the end of they day, they looked good against Chatard and took care of business the rest of the way by pretty good margins.
  13. Warsaw is 6A enrollment, bumped down due to Cathedral and Snider bumping up. Jeff is 5A enrollment. If you look at Jeff's schedule, there's no reason to think they can't make a run to Lukas, and maybe even give the South a competitive game.
  14. Well, if you draw a cross through Downtown Indy, would Carmel be considered NE Indiana?
  15. Yep, your turn. I love regional and semi-state games. Penalties seem to go way down those weeks.
  16. I think Mishawaka will be a tough out, but I have the winner of Dwenger/East Noble as the North's representative. I knew East Noble was good last year. But the wasting of Dwenger 38-0 told me that the only thing stopping this team would be New Pal. I honestly don't know how good this years team is. Won't know until they play Dwenger again.
  17. Columbia City to the west, Adams Central to the south. That's NE Indiana in my opinion. Warsaw, Penn, Mishawaka = North Central. Okay, I had to get out my ruler for this. If you want to eliminate Central Indiana and just roll with NW and NE, then Mishawaka is right on the line. They can just choose which side they want to be on. Technically? Penn would be considered NE Indiana by maybe 5 miles.
  18. I agree, I'm just giving them the benefit of the doubt because I'd like to see them do well. But until they have the opportunity to play someone good, I guess there's always hope.
  19. I was trying to be nice. I know it's bad. But that's a consequence of growth. It's hard to control. Not sure why anyone would want to live in a city that size, but that's just me.
  20. Everyone is playing for second, it will always be that way. Indy continues to grow while Fort Wayne sees minimum growth and the rest of the state remains stagnant. Has nothing to do with football, but if you know something about politics, then you already know. It's no secret that Indianapolis bleeds the tax system from the rest of the state to support their "we want to be like Chicago" agenda. Not that they want that kind of crime, but they want to be known as a MASSIVE metropolis at the expense of the rest of the state. Look no further than the casino that wanted to move to New Haven from Southern Indiana. Politics put an end to that in a hurry. That casino will end up somewhere in Indy. Basically, "if you want to transfer your license, you'll have to go where we tell you." I could go on and on, but I won't. This relates to football in that Indy Suburban schools will continue to grow and distance themselves from the rest of the state. There is no other option than playing for 2nd. Harsh, but true.
  21. I keep forgetting about this. I'll never forget Cody saying that it's "more important" to have a player playing at a high D1 level than it is to win a state championship. Classic.
  22. So you really do like Fort Wayne, you're just messing with us. Understood.
  23. That's fantastic. Much respect for Andean. One of the better programs in the state. 4-2 vs Fort Wayne over the last three decades. They are 5-2 if you include New Haven. But certainly Andrean's 5-2 record isn't the source of your disdain over the Summit City. Tell us, what is it? Share your thoughts so that I can help you.
