  1. Regardless of how many yards they gave up, they were only down 21-17 midway through the third with most of that quarter played in CG territory. How come Carroll's 432 yards don't count? Also, the game was tied at 7-7 and 14-14........so CG leading the whole game is inaccurate. Same thing happens to Westfield against Carmel, but the Rocks were competitive and could potentially win if they meet again in the playoffs. Your bias as a Trojan is rearing it's head.
  2. Is this a serious question Rodney. If you're not planning on leaving Central Indiana, wouldn't Cathedral/Center Grove be a no brainer?
  3. How did you get two likes out of this? I said the same thing about the Carroll/Center Grove game and all the Indy guys fought me tooth and nail on it.
  4. There was chatter on this board and multiple Indy media outlets both years. It's why I was surprised that Snider came down to Indy in '23 and beat them so easily. I wouldn't say I'm a fan of Wright, nor do I promote any of this going to his head as he reads this. I'm just giving credit where credit is due. I think he's a good coach. He's doing something that other coaches aren't. Just as Cignetti is doing at the college level. "We're going to be the next Indiana." No you're not, there's only one Cignetti, sorry. It's hard not to draw a comparison. Disclaimer: Wright's Noblesville teams in the 90's were sub par, though he did have one really good season. But that just backs up my claim as to how important enrollment is.
  5. Did that in the 90's, it was bad, didn't seem too wonderful then. I also remember seeing a riot in the stands on their side of the field. Some thugs on our side of the field looking for trouble. You're saying it's worse? Sorry, not buying what you're selling. Sure, maybe the demographics have changed. But the amount of talent in the hallway hasn't. I'm not buying that. Warren Central had enough talent in '23 & '24 to warrant many to tout them as pre-season favorites to win the whole thing. I'm wondering how Wright would have done those years at Warren .
  6. Sounds to me like the the qualifications for the free lunch program has gone down in the last twenty years. I can't imagine that the demographic makeup of Warren Central has changed THAT much in twenty years. Regardless, I think Wright would have a state champion within two years with the current landscape at WC.
  7. You sure? Got any evidence to back that up? Up here in Fort Wayne, the mass migration outside of the donut happened in the 90's. I saw last year in person how much talent that school still has.
  8. He didn't do so bad at Warren Central. His system works. He's the Cignetti of high school football. Carmel might be the best team in the state his first season there.
  9. Of course. We're talking 5000 students Muda. Not all kids on the free lunch program have poor home lives. Let's say half of them do. We're talking about 500 students not on the program and 2250 who are on the program but are kids who are well taken care of. Kevin Wright is winning a state championship under those circumstances.
  10. C'mon. Look no further than the dominance of the three largest enrollment schools. Over 30 state titles between Carmel, Ben Davis, and Warren Central. The advantage of having more kids to choose from is just common sense. If you can't win football games at a large enrollment school, you're probably either 1) Not a good football coach, or 2) don't have the passion it takes to build a program. Kevin Wright wouldn't take over at Southport or Jeffersonville no matter how much money you paid him. He goes where he knows he can win championships..........Carmel and Warren Central. He knows those large enrollment schools give him an advantage. He's smart.
  11. Presuming this is all time? No Dwenger? Reminder, this topic was intended to be 2025 only.
  12. Forever. That's something to be proud of in my opinion.
  13. Warren Central and Ben Davis.
  14. Agree with the first three, last two not so much. I think Homestead keeps the score within 10-14 points. I think Northrop wins by 17+.
  15. Maybe that's a good measuring stick. Which teams bumped up a class. That would be good for a "best program" poll, but this poll is for 2025 only.
  16. Attending my first AC game this year is on my bucket list. Playoff game more than likely.
  17. I'm 50/50 when it comes to p/p's as it relates to this topic, but throwing socio economics out the windown, then Andrean has to be considered. Definitely one of the states better programs. The problem we have when trying to create a Top 10, is that there are probably 30 schools who think they should be in the discussion.
  18. Do they even attempt at making football a priority?
  19. Some of you are struggling. I'll make this less complicated. Let's just figure enrollment and eliminate socioeconomic factors.
  20. Correct. Agree, not sure this is one of their better teams, but you've got to hand it to their program the way they keep rolling out good football teams year after year. Maybe the best program in the entire state.
  21. Chatard vs East Noble..........even Chatard vs Dwenger...........-3 Chatard vs Mishawaka...........-10 Chatard vs Adams Central.........-17
  22. Wonders if anyone dare thinks that Chatard would running clock 2A Adams Central. The thought of running clock Dwenger and East Noble is also laughable.
  23. I actually like his method of ranking the best teams as long as they have a winning record.
  24. For me it has nothing to do with 6A/5A. It has everything to do with how they played Chatard. From what I heard that game could have gone either way? This Jeff team just seems different to me than years past.
  25. I think Adams Central could make a case for best program in the state.
