  1. unbelievable...... 2022 Purdue team....that was the worst loss in program history 2023 Purdue team....hold my beer Edey takes one shot in the last 12 minutes???? 3 point shooting was atrocious. You had FDU guys in serious foul trouble. WTF?
  2. Did NOT see this coming
  3. There is something like 4 of those guys at this point, isn't there? I lost count
  4. Watching the Pat McAfee show now. It is clear A A Ron is done in Green Bay. Interesting to hear as it seems the pattern for communication is the same as it has been with other players they let go. he is speaking about Green Bay in past tense. I do love how he blasted Adam Schefter....told him don't know how you got it, but lose my number. Kind of a weird feeling though. We knew the day was coming, but it still hits hard when it is here.
  5. I really do not see why a new conference discussion would not be allowed. Here was my follow up on the topic to clarify a couple things in detail.
  6. A true legend of the game. Always loved watching games when it was Winter in Minnesota. But he had some great teams that it seems do not get as much attention as they deserve. RIP Coach. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35835975/bud-grant-led-vikings-4-super-bowls-hof-career-dies
  7. Rough start and finish....survive and advance though.
  8. I agree...and it appears it is close to happening.
  9. Saw this on twitter.......interesting question If the 1st overall pick (a QB) is worth two 1sts, two 2nds, and DJ Moore, what is proper value for Aaron Rodgers?
  10. Word is they wanted to work the same deal with the Colts with the WR being Pittman. I was texting a friend as this kind of reminded me of when the Colts many years ago now traded to get a QB with the 1st pick; trading their WR1 at the time. It's an odd move; try to get who you think will be THE QB, but trade the best target he would have to get him. BUT, the Colts 1 upped the Panthers, because the Colts traded their best OL as well. so not only did they leave the QB without a real target, they left no one to really protect him...lol
  11. I have never put a lot of weight in doing well in the B1G tournament, but just have a feeling to get any momentum going into the NCAA tournament, the Hoosiers need a good showing in this one. Their tourney record is not good having only reached the final once.....in 2001, losing to Iowa.
  12. yep....just more proof Darwin was full of shit. 🤣
  13. I think the hang up is that not only does he want Watson type money; he wants a guaranteed contract like Watson has too. besides the ridiculous amount of money the Browns agreed to pay him, guaranteeing the entire contract was probably the dumbest move in the deal.
  14. I know there is an exploratory committee looking at converting 30 into an interstate similar to what it is most of the way through Ohio. The New Haven Mayor is on the committee. The concern I think is it will likely have to be a new road as towns like CC and Warsaw have so much built up right on top of the road now that there is no room for on/off ramps or overpasses.
  15. And crashing back to earth they come......Granted though, nothing was stopping Iowa in this one. Seems they pick a few games a year to shoot like they have, and be average at best the rest of the season. That said, I really dislike this Iowa team....and their coach.....just seems to be a lack of class in all of them. The constant shit talking to fans is not needed. And McCaffery has always been a dick, so they seem to take after him.
  16. Great road win. Tough and gritty effort by the Hoosiers. The Boilers could not buy a bucket in the second half. Felt like they got away from going inside to Edey. With the foul trouble IU had, Purdue missed chances to get them out of the game. How about Jalen Hood Schifino though? Wow, what a great night. He seems to be getting better as the season goes, and making fewer mistakes.
  17. @Bobref Tab Bamford posted this one on his twitter.....pretty funny
  18. My absolute favorite was from a place in Fort Myers Beach; Hoosiers in Paradise. The owner is a retired Firefighter from Indy. He used a beer batter rather than the usual breaded coating. I really hope he brings the place back after Ian. I have not heard any updates. But a lot of damage was done to the building it was in. WTHR did a story about it a few days after Ian hit. Here is a great picture of the tenderloin.
  19. Hard fought win at home for the men against a gritty Illinois team.
  20. If you are in this area, Parkview Field is a great venue; lots of great food and drink options. Single A baseball may not be the greatest to watch, but I have never had a bad time at a game. Going to be odd seeing these uniforms though lol
