He definitely jumped the gun. He was sure that Moore was turning pro. I would not be surprised to see him try to get out of his deal with Oregon.

Initially, an ingenious plan going to mid major programs. They fly under the radar until tourney time. The size of those bets though is insane. It was those bets that triggered the red flags.

Looks like Raiola is making somewhere in the neighborhood of $2 Million. But he still has a redshirt year available, and would likely use that next season.

If you like film study.....I LOVE watching film and analyzing. I am old enough to still call it film Coach Haines really does his homework on his opponents.

It's crazy now......leavitt is getting paid more now to play college football than Shedeur Sanders is to play pro football. No chance Moore makes more money going to the Jets compared to staying. Even crazier is he was like a top 5 draft pick. I have to admit while this is all unsustainable, the chaos provides plenty of entertainment.

Crazy sequence of events. Dylan Raiola commits to Oregon, but Dante Moore decides to stay another year at Oregon. This is pretty funny though.
-
75 new commitments for next season.....just wow Add to it that as of the start of this school year, juco years no longer count either.

This is a crazy stat. This week will be his 15th playoff game as the Rams head coach. He has never played a team twice in the playoffs in that time

25-26 DOE Enrollments
Irishman replied to HoopsCoach's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
New Haven is actually up. We have been climbing steadily in enrollment for a while now. We are listed at 1068 on the IHSAA site for this current cycle and ranked 95th, but 1117 now. We may even be higher for a February count. We were ranked number 111 in the 15-16 cycle, 106 in enrollment in the 17-18 cycle, 100 in 19-20, 95th with 1064 from 22-24 cycle. This year we are ranked 88th. There is a LOT of construction of housing editions as well as an apartment complex (I am sure there will be a split between FWCS and EACS there as it is a gray area as far as where kids can go) going on in town too. Not sure we will be able to handle the increased population it will all bring to the area as far as our building size goes. -
His visit was a few days ago. I had guessed that this was not an option for him based on the lack of any news.

1 sack....at 6'2" and 280...I am going to guess it was a good bull rush that got the sack lol

lol......love Izzo...hate MSU, but he is a great one.

Cignetti keeps coming up. I cannot see him leaving. He has even said he is retiring at IU. His advantage at IU is having a team of veteran players with the average age of 23. That type of thing is not really an advantage he would have in the NFL. I am a bit bias too though. But IU has shown they are willing to pay whatever is necessary to keep him in Bloomington.

This actually goes more to my point. Wanting to kick a team's ass and telling a coach is one thing; meant, it and there is still a level of mutual respect there. Even if cameras were present for that, I don't see anything wrong with it; likely as much good natured as anything. Now, if the two ended up in a shouting match back and forth, then it's a different story. But saying Fuck the Packers, I hate those fuckers is a whole different level. Had he even said something like, great fucking win, that is how you fucking compete, I have ZERO issues with that. Private locker room time? Nope. That is as fierce a thing that Halas can say knowing there were no cameras....and Johnson knowing full well there were cameras. My beef is not about the cussing itself, it was the full line he used. He manufactured the angst between himself and LaFleur, and he keeps it going with this. At the end of the day, you won a wild card game, not a Super Bowl or even the NFC Championship.
-
There was more to the story behind him saying that. Not a fan of it necessarily, but the anger was justified.

How would George Halas have handled winning that game? How would Vince Lombardi have handled winning that game? The pro wrestling comment was about the hype around it being fake because it's all scripted. The Mike Leach comparison does not fit. He never said F ________________________ when his teams beat them. Jimmy Johnson was a pretty confident and even more outspoken coach....never said about his bitter rivals. I have no issue with Johnson being excited about the win; just takes things too far. But it's obvious he hit with his target audience. Most Coaches understand what goes around comes around.

Ryan Clark was asked on the pregame show what it was like to play for Mike Tomlin on a stage like this, and he said the same he was on week 1. They were down 21-7 in a playoff game, and instead of focusing on mistakes, Tomlin calmly said, this comeback is going to be epic. Watch this locker room when we come back. I am willing to bet he never once said F the Ravens or other rivals. Same with John Harbaugh about their rivals. Cameras were all over the Cowboys locker rooms when Jimmy Johnson coached. Never once did you hear him say F the Eagles, Giants, or Redskins. In fact it was always How about them Cowboys! Celebrate your team instead of MFing the opponents.
