  1. With the PAC 12 falling apart, is there a chance to fix that?
  2. Decent first half. Should have had more points on the board. HATED seeing William go dow. That did not look good at all. With Bazelak, they could still move the ball, but way too inconsistent. I am not sure IU can afford to not change anything for next season.
  3. So, Clemson takes itself out of the picture. Even with osu getting beat bad, they still have a chance. It seems LSU has a LOT on the line from this point on. If TCU wins out, they are in.
  4. Man this got ugly. Someone here is heading for some time off. Cathedral Dad, I would recommend some time off. The stuff you have spewed since about 6 am has been beyond hateful, and is not at all what this site is for at all. A good ribbing from time to time is ok, but good Lord man.
  5. 4 of the 7 of us were born in September. We always credit it to the Packers winning a championship.
  6. The officials did not call USC on him though. And for a point of clarification to your comment about an Irish player getting 2 USC calls standing next to the coaches……to clarify, 2 USC penalties by a player in a game is an automatic ejection from that game, and will sit the following game. So it would not be the coach’s call to have him standing there as you implied.
  7. Just texting some friends about that....must be rippin cigs between plays. 🤣
  8. Here is the issue I have brought up for years. While enrollment numbers may LOOK the same as far as a number on paper; they definitely are not the same. The focus is off for this discussion. It is not who is in those non public buildings, it is who is NOT in those building that the public schools with the same raw number do have in their buildings. As far as who is in each building, the potential numbers of players for non public schools is more on par with schools that are a class above and for some even 2 classes above.
  9. I saw someone post that their middle school teams played an 11 man schedule.
  10. Seems like a slap on the wrist though. He knew what he was doing was wrong. Now chance he was unaware. And shame on the AD for the lack of control. He has been doing this for years even back when he was at North Side here in FW.
  11. TM also went to "dynamic pricing". Basically, the higher the demand for tickets, the more they charge. They say it's to eliminate the touts (aka scalpers and reselling services). What that means is they are now doing the exact same thing those people do. Maybe we can get to a point where TM is shown to be a monopoly and has to break up. That said, venues and artists can help control this. Ford Field does not use TM. Artists can set their ticket prices as well, but most just leave it up to Live Nation to schedule dates and set prices.
  12. Vanderbilt rushes the field like they expect to win. 🤣
  13. If you are on twitter, this dude, Three Year Letterman takes trolling to an entirely new level; and it is comedy gold.
  14. 8. I just do not see a path for Clemson to get in. One thing that has never changed in college football; when you lose is a huge factor. 7. UM/osu loser....maybe but it has to be close. 6. I agree. They will leap frog USC if they do win out. 5. USC may be left out in the cold. Giving up 45 points hurts them, and that loss is glaring. 4. TCU is this year's UC 2/3. agreed 1. UGA is a lock even if LSU beats them.
  15. At some point, the question may become can they afford not to?
  16. Fore a while, it looked as bad as the fog game in Chicago many years ago.
  17. Nice win...overcoming a horrible first half. Williams looked really good at QB. Now to knock Purdue out of the hunt for the West division 🙂
  18. You are correct.....a returner can actually step into the end zone and run as long as the ball is not judged to have crossed that plane.
  19. I switch to the Irish game thinking this one was over.....and wow, a tie game? late in the 4th.
  20. This one got out of hand early. These players are just going through the motions now.
  21. I cannot get off the QR Code screen on my TV app, but am watching on my laptop
  22. More drama as this unfolds. Just like the drama in recent years, it will be a distraction in the locker room. If this gets worse…..and in the words of Clark W. Griswold Jr., “worse? How can it get any worse? We are on the threshold of hell”, Rodgers will retire. I think it is clear the relationship between him and LaFleur is fractured. Maybe Rodgers stays another year just to piss LaFleur off? I can see that happening too. If he does, I think both he and LaFleur are done after that. As far as Love goes, I am not so sure that he is the next guy. I look for them to move him. There is some good QB talent coming up on the collegiate level.
  23. With the all in tournament, and keeping the end of the season at Thanksgiving, it was an absolute must. 64 teams in 5 classes was the max each could have. The only other options were to start the season a week earlier or eliminate another game. The plan had been developed as we crept closer to 320. Once we hit 321 teams playing, 6 classes had to happen, and did. I give Bobby Cox some credit with planning ahead, and knowing that just evenly dividing teams in 6 classes was not a good solution.
