  1. I missed that. And I have been surprised by the reaction last weekend when Jay Glazier put MLF on his time will tell list. People following Green Bay have seen this all too often. I look at the point in McCarthy’s career that Green Bay let him go. Will they allow LaFleur to stay longer and miss the playoffs too? At least McCarthy got them a Super Bowl win. Talk all the numbers you want, but LaFleur has maybe one playoff win when his was an underdog at Dallas two years ago. But he sure has lost plenty while being the favorite or when having a sizable lead. I sat through the San Francisco game when Green Bay was the 1 seed in the bitter cold and they blew it. They looked like the best team in the league the first two weeks of the season, but looked average at best the rest of the way. In every loss except the Ravens game, they ran out to a lead in the first half only to blow it late. And multiple times, it was at least a two score lead.
  2. Missed FGs, and one after a delay of game penalty where the 5 yards could have madea difference. Add to it, that delay was after a time out. Missed PAT 2 huge kick returns given up to set up short fields to score. Cannot run the ball and no adjustments in blocking for that. Too often there was no hot route at all for the blitzes Chicago ran. Most of these things have been a problem not just this season, but for as long as LaFleur has been a head coach here. He is supposed to be talking with team leaders about an extension. He should be told to hit the road. he is not going to get them to a super bowl.
  3. Tell LaFleur to walk home. Just a complete team breakdown. Not surprised at all how it played out.
  4. Shoot me now.........geeezuz
  5. LaFleur and Co. are trying to give this to the Bears, like they did the previous 2 games
  6. Ben Johnson costing his team dearly in this one. HAVE to kick the FG on that 4th down. It eliminates the need to go for 2 at some point later in the game.
  7. Old time hockey, eh Coach?
  8. Solid start for Love. Jacobs looks good too. Just cannot get movement in short yardage. Ben Johnson putting his team in tough spots. That last attempt on 4th down was just a bad decision.
  9. Keep your eyes on number 7. He is the slot receiver to the left. The move he makes is just sick. The DB lines up inside to try and take that away, but bites HARD on the outside step.
  10. Sorry….I saw it as satire as well, and thought it was too funny not to share.
  11. Along that line, Moore is likely entering the draft, but would be better off staying another year. He will still be just 20 years old on draft day.
  12. Best line of the night. Cheers Coach!
  13. IU vs. Miami 8 minutes to go in the semifinal. I feel pretty sure now IU has this lockedc up. On to Miami. Crazy to think the number 1 team plays at the home of the number 10 team. I really do not think it matters though. It might be close early, but Miami got beat up pretty good against Ole Miss. And their defense was gassed most of the 4th quarter. I think IU wins by at least 17 points.
  14. Oregon has some work to do to meet my prediction lol
  15. Got IU's first half score right. What do you got for the second half? 😄
  16. Incredible first half. I thought IU would win by a wider margin than they did in October, but damn, I did not see this
  17. JMU still checking in....and going strong
  18. Yep....seeing posts that Green Bay was one of the teams currently with a head coach that contacted Harbaugh; I believe the fins were the other team to do so.
  19. Tough, physical game; took it out of both teams. A couple of injuries for Miami could be a problem in the next game. And They lose that safety for a half with that targeting call.
  20. I think just supports what the guy is saying though. A roster with that much talent should be playing at that level more consistently. The video clips I have seen from their South Carolina game are comical. If that team shows up against Purdue, Purdue shoots them out of the gym.
  21. Someone had to go first. Utah went this route with Otro Capital, a private equity firm investing in the range of $500 Million up front. Others like Utah, if they want to take a chance at reaching the playoff, programs will have to consider following suit, maybe not with Lasry, but with someone. I think the NIL coop in place, they are fine. I think a handful of teams are good to go as they are. I think it's the teams outside the top 16 that will take the leap.
  22. I don't believe the legislation forces buildings themselves to consolidate. If I remember right, it was about combing districts. That said, it very well could lead to consolidating schools themselves, but the intent was to reduce the number of admins. I don't believe the bill passed though. I will have to check though.
