  1. Incredible race with a photo finish.
  2. lol
  3. Ok, first breaking should have never been a “sport” in the Olympics. I thought breaking was no longer a thing I always knew some people should never do it; myself included Seeing this qualified to GET to Paris, just how bad was the competition in the Australian trials? All that said, I dare anyone to not 😆 https://www.instagram.com/reel/C-eJFaEtlYh/?igsh=c3Fqdnd4NHpuZGh
  4. To put this in perspective… in 2016, Helen Maroulis was the first woman from the US to win an Olympic medal in wrestling… today, Helen perhaps wrestled her last match, securing a bronze medal for her third straight Olympics with a medal - putting her with the second most Olympic medals for ANY US Wrestler. And to add to just how far it has come, it is now a sanctioned sport in the IHSAA, and the NCAA is adding it at the D1 level soon. A handful of schools are even offering scholarships in anticipation of it becoming a real thing.
  5. So why blame him? You did say "Noah Lyles, SMH" When asked about that comment, you referred to the men's 4x100
  6. If the handoffs were clean they win a medal. But blame the guy who did not run the race or any of the heats for that matter? The 4 on the track for the final were the same 4 that ran every heat.
  7. Incredible finish
  8. Penn HS enters the Gold Medal count
  9. Cathedral grad in a huge upset for the Gold
  10. Have not had time the last couple days to post anything.
  11. Interesting too, as someone commented that the first 2 places were the last 2 off the blocks.
  12. Correction.....the 7th place finisher today would have been Bronze in Tokyo. The 8th place finisher today was just .02 seconds slower than the Bronze medalist from Tokyo.
  13. That is incredible. Thought i saw something too that the 8th place time would have been a bronze in Tokyo.
  14. Incredible race. I thought Lyles won watching live and the review was for 2nd and 3rd. Not sure though. I am also curious to know how many of them ran their personal best.
  15. Another Gold medal for a Hoosier!
  16. First time in history, a 3 time gold medal winner in shot put.
  17. sidenote, Finke's mom swam for Ball State.
  18. Impressive win after losing to Alcaraz at Wimbledon a few weeks ago in what felt like a changing of the guard. I missed the match, but to have the 2 sets go to tie breakers sounds like it was quite a match to see.
  19. Most golfers tried downplaying this tournament compared to the Majors, but Scheffler said his goal was to have fun, and it showed. On a side note, American golfers won all the Majors and now the Gold Medal. A final round of 62 is pretty impressive.
