No offense. I would take the top 20 of 4A any day of the week vs the bottom 20 of 5A. I also think the Top 3 in 4A (East Central, Ev. Reitz, New Palestine) would do very well against the Top 3 in 5A (Bloomington South, Valpo, F.W. Snider).

Pretty easy for East Central to look good with the 152nd ranked schedule. They have a 1-0 record against top 64, congrats to them.

5A Sectional 12 has 3 teams in it.

    3 Teams….one of which is Snider (whom I admire)…but still..3 freakin’ teams.

I’m sorry but 5A as it stands today is a joke.

That is due to ISHAA reclassifying Dwenger to 4A this summer. Not sure why they did it, but it is the ISHAA.

Blowouts for Carroll and Homestead. Wayne a bit more disciplined then North Side so I'll say Generals. Luers by 24+ and Snider gets W, by 17-20.

I heard that Tae Tae left game and didn't return. Not sure if he got hurt or something else??

I remember that. Hell of an idea.

Not sure if that is a good idea. These are not "professional" refs, yes, I know they have some training but I assume they do this for love of game and a bit of extra spending money. If this was a full time, career type paying position, maybe more accountability would be good, but at the "just about volunteering" level to officiate a game and not a full time job, there will be some bad calls.

Carroll 63 - Northrop 7 - Blowout city and it could be worse than the score I predicted as Carroll will run up the score as the have done already this year

Homestead 56 - Concordia 6 - Sparty gets it going against a hapless Cadet team

Luers 49 - South Side 13 - Another blowout coming in this one

Wayne 28 - North Side 20 - I trust the Generals more than the train wreck that is going on at North Side. There isn’t enough space here to condemn the embarrassment that is going on at State and Clinton right now

Snider 42 - Dwenger 20 - Panthers are too much for the Saints this year. Tough decisions coming in Saints land

Shame on Carroll and Homestead 😀

    Technically correct, I believe.

But (after listening to 1380).  There seems to be some sort of other parameters that they are using to further 'define' who actually gets the Bell.

You would have thought that the SAC could have come up with a better calculation than just 'wins'.   Without a cross-over game that involves the teams at the top.  Why not just take a POLL and name a winner?   Kinda like the AP/Coaches of the NCAA prior to a National Championship series.

Still think they need a "champion/playoff week, last week of season. 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, etc per each division. Regular season you play the other four in your division, have two cross over games into other division, two OOC games then champion week.

I said several months ago that splitting the SAC into two division was not a good idea, also stated Luers has the easiest route to the title.  This system needs tweaked, or the SAC needs to split into two new conferences.

    Dwenger lost that game.

Down the ball, kick the field goal. Three turnovers killed them.

So is Luers finish with one lose and Snider has one loss, they share the bell and league championship.

Northrop and South will never be competitive again in the SAC, you can take that to the bank.

Never is a pretty powerful word. I would think they will be competitive at least 1 year out of next 10-20. But then again, competitive in your definition is probably different than mine. I'm thinking South Side is more likely to happen sooner than Northrop

What a crazy week in the SAC.

Good Homestead comes out and catches Snider in a let down spot for a huge W. Long term think this may help the Panthers to refocus.

Wayne almost catches Carroll in the same position.

Congrats to South for picking up not just a win, but a dominating win at that.

Think all the “swagger” is slowly ruining North. Starting to wonder if #3 will have what it takes between the ears to stick at the next level, getting tossed last night was the death blow to the Legends. Luers deserves their share of credit for the win and part of the blame for the chippy nature of the game, but they stayed more disciplined in the end and earned the win. Also I am one who doesn’t hate skipping a handshake line postgame as it could have escalated something bad

Snider played and was coached to lose last night. Getting beat like that may be a good thing as you said.

I thought the same thing on North Side. Was going back and forth on that game & Snider and North just looks so undisciplined, I didn't like what I saw with Tae Tae may be lose of talent at next level. I can't see that behavior working well at Notre Dame.

What an absolute giveaway game by Snider. Up 14-0 six minutes into the game, and Tippmann outthinks himself again. Run the damn ball!!! Abysmal loss…

Yea, I don't understand their play calling. I was watching game on and off after the first two scores. Why would you go away from a game plan that was working. Every time I saw a few plays, they were passing or Buchanan wasn't getting the ball, QB was running around. They had a golden opportunity to be SAC Champs (that is still attainable) but game was very confusing to me.
