The NIC North is powerful conference. The average Sagrain rating of the NIC north is higher than the average ranking of the Duneland, Norther Lakes, and the Summit. If Penn would join one of those they still would be playing teams like Lake Central, Goshen, Wawasee, FW Wayne, FW North, etc. Why not stay in the NIC North and with 4 dates you can choose your opponents. Also Mishawaka may travel well to Penn, but that is the only place their fans follow their teams. Also Mishawaka has a few powerful team but a majority of them are average at best.
I would beg to differ. Been to plenty of games and they always travel well but maybe just the games I attend

I want to know if a certain legend was consulted?
Ryan Meehan
Think he was more of a legend off the field lol
But it does make me wonder who the legends consulted were? Off the top of my head would be Al Smith (former wrestling and football coach), Steve Anderson (longtime volleyball coach), perhaps John Danher (former AD). Any ideas who else?

Just a question but don't most schools/teams have a policy regarding 'x' amount of practices before playing in a game?

Was not aware Adams had any recent Wrestling state placers . What year was this ?
He ran into AJ Fowler from calumet in the semi state ticket round

Isn't one of Adams top defenders from last year playing for Mishawaka this year?

The battle of the recruits. I mean Holy War. ST. Joe with "QB" issues is no excuse to allow 41 points to be scored on you. I believe Glenn is the only team to score on Marian with a Sophmore QB and an offensive line half the size of everyone one else. Riley is going to need to score more then the 28 they put on Bremen to beat Marian. Marians secondary is the real deal and will pluck balls out of the air if RILEYS QB isnt on his game. Rileys run game will struggle to reach the perimeter let alone up the middle against that line. Glenn scored 35 on Bremen on Friday. Should of been a lot worse but they had a 40 yard score on the very first play called back after they stripped/recovered the opening kickoff. Riley is a good team but anyone can score on Adams. David Perkins' Defensive play calling has more holes then Mishawaka Avenue. I won't be surprised if Clay has more wins then Adams at the end of the year. All in all Riley should cause Marian a few fits, but that Marian D is big, fast and fundamentally sound. Marian wins big.
Is this former Washington player David Perkins calling the defense at Adams?

Hope it’s not an error that I saw but congrats to SB Clay on a win over Hammond tonight. Happy for those kids

But now it sounds like he may play on Monday??

I've been through the Grossman years, the Krenzle era, the Kyle Orton era, and plenty of other below average NFL qbs. Last night may have been the most depressing game I've watched as a Bears fan. Thank God it was only 1 game, no where to go but up and that includes OL play too!!

I think I was also told Howe Military Academy?
Could be, I've always heard Clay was the most northern school. On a side note, I thought I heard Howe Military was closing it's doors at the end of last year or maybe this was the final year because of funding. Might be confused with another academy tho

Check out Warsaw High School senior kicker Harrison Mevis. #2 ranked high school kicker in he nation. This kid will be playing on Sunday’s in about 5 years.
Heard dude was solid last Friday! Any offers yet?

I just saw the score from Friday, but what is the vibe around the Riley program?
-
I saw that score on John Harrell’s site and did a triple take! Assuming no need to wash the uniforms for next weeks games haha

I always wonder how hard it is for a high school program to pack and travel their gear across the country for a game.. Seems like that would be a major hassle. And how long of trip is it, do they arrive 2 days early, a day early, leave right after the game, try and make it an educational experience?

Elkhart Central Blue Blazers in their last year before consolidation. Any idea what the new Elkhart mascot will be? Also, what the hell's a blue blazer? Chevy have any ties to Elkhart? lol

Always liked the Frankfort Hot Dogs and the Mishawaka Cavemen

I think it's kind of ironic that the original poster who brought this up follows Crown Point, a school that's had their share of "move-ins" in multiple sports

New Prairie went to Michigan City. Radtke never really shows much at these scrimmages and subs guys in and out quite a bit to get a look at a lot of different situations. The offense looked pretty solid the little the first group was in. Defense may take a little time to come together.
Heard MC has some speed, both sides of the ball

Mishawaka still scrimmage Concord? I wonder if they'll continue that scrimmage when the Cavemen move to the NLC?
Penn vs Crown Point used to scrimmage but not sure
