  1. Bloomington South 24 Terre Haute South 0 (half) The Braves had their first good drive near the end of the half and also picked up their first 1st downs that wasn't on a penalty, but their drive died and they missed on a 31-yard FG try to end the half. THS had their starting QB go down on that drive after a hard sack shook him up. He eventually was able to walk off the field, but he was clearly shaken up leaving the field, so his availability in the 2nd half is questionable.
  2. Bloomington South 24 Terre Haute South 0 (7:26, 2nd) Four possessions, four scores for South so far to start the game.
  3. Bloomington South 17 Terre Haute South 0 (1:07, 1st) South's Gavin Adams busts one right up the middle for 54 yards and a TD. South has scored on all three of their possessions to start the game, while THS has just one first down which came on a penalty.
  4. Bloomington South 10 Terre Haute South 0 (5:55, 1st) After forcing THS into another 3 and out, South drove into THS territory but settled for a 31 yard FG.
  5. Bloomington South 7 Terre Haute South 0 (10:07, 1st) THS received the opening kickoff and went 3 and out. South quickly scored on an a 52-yard end run by D'Andre Black.
  6. I saw that Richmond has been shut out in three straight games. They scored 14 points in their season opener against Connersville, but lost the game 47-14. The Red Devils have a new coach this season, but he has a long way to go to turn this situation around.
  7. Yeah, I knew it started in the 2nd half, but I didn't know they had a 63-0 lead in the 1st half which is incredible. Richmond must have been a turnover machine in the game to go along with no defense. At least, that is my keen sense of the obvious.
  8. I don't know what happened in that Jeff/Richmond game, but the running clock which is supposed to hold down scores to some extent, sure didn't help in that case. Richmond continues to have declining enrollment which certainly has an impact in sports.
  9. Bloomington South 45 Bloomington North 7 (final) South dominated both sides of the ball. North had one nice drive in the 3rd for 80 yards and their lone TD, but that was pretty much it.
  10. Owen Valley 57 Edgewood 7 (final) OV had a 43-0 lead at the half, so it was a running clock for the 2nd half.
  11. Bloomington South 45 Bloomington North 7 (8:05, 4th) South has gone to several backups to include at QB and RB, but North still had trouble containing them as South scores again with all of their TDs being rushing TDs. We now have a running clock for what is left of the 4th.
  12. Bloomington South 38 Bloomington North 7 (4:30, 3rd) North finally scored on their last drive, but they still haven't figured out how to stop South on offense as the Panthers score on another TD run of 11 yards.
  13. Bloomington South 31 Bloomington North 7 (7:51, 3rd) North finally figured out some things at half and finally found the South end of the field for the 1st time, scoring on a shovel pass and jet sweep scoring from 29 yards out.
  14. Bloomington South 31 Bloomington North 0 (11:28, 3rd) South took just 28 seconds to score at the start of the 3rd. After a kick return to the North 42-yard line, South's Gavin Adams went all 42 yards on a run to score his 3rd rushing TD of the game.
  15. Terre Haute South 27 Terre Haute North 21 (half) Eastern Greene 21 Mitchell 6 (half) Owen Valley 43 Edgewood 0 (half)
  16. Bloomington South 24 Bloomington North 0 (half) South gets the ball to start the 3rd. South has been way too physical for North and has controlled both lines of scrimmage. North has just 13 yards rushing and 21 yards passing with just one first down in the half. South has 158 yards passing and 111 yards rushing and 15 first downs in the half.
  17. Bloomington South 24 Bloomington North 0 (2:56, 2nd) South picked North again at the North 41-yard line and South went on another efficient drive with a balance of runs and passes, scoring on their third running TD.
  18. Bloomington South 17 Bloomington North 0 (6:36, 2nd) South drove into the red zone but threw a pick in the end zone. North turned around and returned the favor by throwing a pick, giving South the ball back on the North 46 yard line. South scored on the drive with a balance of runs and passes with Gavin Adams scoring his 2nd TD on a run. North has just one first down on the game so far.
