  1. Bloomington South 10 Bloomington North 0 (end of the 1st) South has the ball with the start of the 2nd and North went out again on a 3 and out.
  2. Bloomington South 10 Bloomington North 0 (1:55, 1st) South scores on a 34-yard FG. South defense has kept North bottled up at their end of the field so far.
  3. Bloomington South 7 Bloomington North 0 (6:43, 1st) North won the toss and elected to receive and punted on a 3 and out. South went on a 60 yard drive consisting of passes and runs and scored on a 6 yard run by Gavin Adams. North's top offensive player in RB Cody Michulich is back in the lineup after being injured in the 1st qtr of the season opener.
  4. That they did over Mitchell. That was a total brain freeze on my part. Thanks for setting it straight.
  5. Peotone (IL) 26 Edgewood 25 (final) In a Saturday contest, Edgewood is still looking for their first win of the season as they lose the game in the final 42 seconds of the game. The Mustangs trailed Peotone 13-6 at halftime but took a 25-13 lead in the 3rd. After Peotone regained the lead late in the 4th, the Mustangs fumbled the ball away ending any chance of a last second comeback.
  6. Bloomington South 55 Terre Haute North 7 (final) After a very long first half primarily because of 201 total yards in penalties, the second half moved quickly with the running clock.
  7. Terre Haute South 34 Bloomington North 20 (final) North's best offensive player in running back Cody Michalec was knocked out in the 1st qtr of the season-opening game with Mooresville due to a shoulder injury and he is still out which has probably really limited things for them on offense.
  8. Bloomington South 55 Terre Haute North 7 ( nearing the end of the 4th) South had an 89-yard kickoff return for a TD brought back for an unnecessary block in the back penalty away from the play, but they ended up scoring on the drive anyway.
  9. Bloomington South 48 Terre Haute North 7 (running clock in the 4th) THN gets on the board to avoid the shutout. South has started bringing in the backups.
  10. Bloomington South 48 Terre Haute North 0 (5:31, 3rd) With a running clock, South took the kickoff to the 3rd and marched quickly down the field for another TD. PAT failed. South is nearing 500 yards in total offense right now. There were 201 yards in penalties in the first half with much of that charged to THN as things got chippy as South took that big lead while THS couldn't move the ball and was frustrated.
  11. Terre Haute South 27 Bloomington North 12 (8:44, 4th) BN just forced a safety.
  12. Martinsville 28 Greenwood 14 (final) The Arties start the season at 3-0.
  13. Bloomington South 42 Terre Haute North 0 (half) South will receive the ball to open the 2nd half and it will be a running clock.
  14. Bloomington South 42 Terre Haute North 0 (0:49, 2nd) South scored on about a 60 yard drive.
  15. Bloomington South 35 Terre Haute North 0 (5:15, 2nd) South scores on a 17-yard pass play.
  16. Bloomington South 28 Terre Haute North 0 (8:28, 2nd) South held THN out of the end zone after they had a 1st and goal from the 8, and South then went almost the length of the field on a combination of runs and passes to pad the score. Officially, it was a 91-yard drive.
  17. Bloomington South 21 Terre Haute North 0 (end of 1st) THN will have the ball on 3rd down at the South 8-yard line to start the 2nd. THN had their first big play on a designed QB keeper that almost went the distance.
  18. Bloomington South 21 Terre Haute North 0 (5:21, 1st) South scores again on a short drive. THN has had the ball on three possessions and still doesn't have a 1st down, and their best offensive play so far is a 3-yard QB scramble.
  19. Bloomington South 14 Terre Haute North 0 (8:30, 1st) After stopping THN again on a 3 and out, South scored on a drive from midfield topped off with an 18 yard TD run.
  20. Bloomington South 7 Terre Haute North 0 (11:08, 1st) South takes the lead after THN won the toss and elected to receive. After three downs of going no where, South blocked the punt and caught the ball on the bounce and ran it into the end zone for the score.
  21. Brown County has not had a winning season in 10 years, although they did have a break-even .500 season during one of the years.
  22. Martinsville 27 Bloomington South 14 (final) Well deserved win for the Arties. Martinsville was more fundamentally sound and more disciplined than South in this game, especially in the first half, and didn't turn the ball over in the game although South had a couple of chances on picks but couldn't pull them in. South just kept hurting themselves on major penalties and on a couple of ill-timed picks. The Panthers played better in the second half outscoring the Arties 7-6 in that half, but they had to do better than that to pull this game out. The Arties QB Adkins was the better of the two QBs used by South and was more efficient in the passing game. South's running back Gavin Adams, who had a big game last week running the ball against New Albany, also had a big game and was well over 100 yards in this game, but most of his yardage came between the 20-yard lines.
