Bloomington South 10 Castle 0 (end of 1st) South scored a TD at the end of the 1st on a 19 yard TD pass to Dasan McCullough. South has had the ball twice and has come up with points on both drives.

Evans. North 6 Bloomington North 0 (11:49, 1st) On the first play from scrimmage in the game, EN's TJ Hankins went on an 80 yard run to score. PAT hit the upright.

Bloomington South 3 Castle 0 (6:41, 1st) South took the opening kickoff right down the field, but had to settle for a FG in the red zone. It was a 28 yard FG.

You may have already seen it, but the HTO indicated in their game capsule today that WGCL will be covering the South/Castle game, with WVNI covering the Evans. North/North game.

Chatard may have started the season 0-4, but they are better team than CN after watching both games. They totally controlled the trenches in South's game and the Panther's look lethargic for most of the game, like they didn't want to be out on the field. With the defense on the field for much of the game, they were really dragging in the 2nd half. Had an off-week to prepare, but it made no difference. Simply put, we were a no-show against the toughest two teams on our schedule. Pretty disappointing. Now we travel to play Castle to open sectional play which has become an annual ritual by having to travel there.

Chatard 42 Bloomington South 7 (final) The story of this game was frankly that South got dominated in the trenches - end of game.

Chatard 42 Bloomington South 7 (late 4th) At least South's offense didn't give up as they drove the field for a TD to avoid the shutout. I assume the Trojans also had mostly reserves in on defense also.

Chatard 42 Bloomington South 0 (4th, running clock) South is just out there going through the motions and want this game to end. Chatard just scored after getting a pick with mostly reserves in on offense. Totally embarrassing since the Panthers are showing no fight whatsoever right now and you can just see it in their body language.

Chatard 35 Bloomington South 0 (mid 3rd) South did very little on the opening possession of the 2nd, and the Trojans responded with another easy TD on their first possession of the half, and we have a running clock, which is a good thing since South is doing nothing on offense.

Chatard 28 Bloomington South 0 (0:56, 2nd) On a 3rd down and South playing for a pass, the Trojans ran the ball and when the runner broke the line of scrimmage, there was no one to stop him from scoring. South probably needs to get on the bus and head home at the half, since they are getting dominated in the trenches.

Bloomington North 42 Southport 14 (final) The second half was played with a running clock. The Cards were able to get another TD with less that one minute left in the game to make the final score a little less painful, but not by much.

Bloomington North 42 Southport 7 (start of 4th) Southport returned a fumble to the North one yard line and got their first score of the game. They recovered an on-side kick and have the ball at the North 24 yard line right now.

Chatard 21 Bloomington South 0 (mid 2nd) After a bad punt gave the Trojans good field position, Chatard had no problem sustaining a short drive to score. This is going to get ugly since the Trojans are controlling the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

Bloomington North 42 Southport 0 (under 8:00, 3rd)

Chatard 14 Bloomington South 0 (end of 1st) After South had a big gainer called back for a hold, they got off a bad punt after being forced into a punting situation, and Chatard has the ball in South territory to start the 2nd.

It's pretty simple so far, Chatard is controlling the line scrimmage on offense, and is getting good yardage on just about every down.

Chatard 14 Bloomington South 0 (near end of 1st) Two possessions, two Trojan TDs as South hasn't figured Chatard out yet and they had better get it together. South is still looking for the 1st first down since they have had the ball for just one possession so far.

Chatard 7 Bloomington South 0 (8:35, 1st) Chatard took the opening kickoff on a sustained drive, running the ball exclusively until they passed for a short TD. This game was delayed by a lengthy Senior Night activity before the game.

Bloomington North 35 Southport 0 (half) The half ended when the Cards tried a Hail Mary from midfield which was picked by North and ran back 90 yards for a TD.
