Odds of winning the 6A and 5A tournaments for CI teams according to Harrell's site. They have Bloom. South with the best odds of winning the 5A title at 27.39 percent with Mishawaka, Valparaiso, and Ft. Wayne Snider with the next best odds and their odds are bunched together closely between 13 and 14 percent. Col. North and Southport are given little to no chance to make it past the 6A sectionals. How they came about their analytic formulas on this I have no idea although they said it was based on ratings, draw, and home field. I haven't put up week 9 results yet, but I'm going to extend it into the first games of the sectionals since all teams are involved and I think I will discontinue it after the initial sectional games. I think if I had it to do all over again, I would have added a couple of "wild card" games from neighboring conferences since there are only six teams in the CI. Having two of the worst teams in the state in the conference this season made for some easy lop-sided picks and there weren't too many games where picking a contest was somewhat of a challenge.

Edgewood 46 Brown County 6 (final) Edgewood notches their 2nd win of the season. Brown County's football program is really in the dumps right now and someone needs to take the bull by the horns there and try to straighten it out.

Bloomington South 47 Seymour 0 (final) South kept Seymour's passing attack under control and had three picks in the game including a pick-6.

Their QB is ranked No.1 and I don't know if that is passing percentage or yardage or what. But South has kept them bottled up for most of the game. South has pulled most of their starters.

Bloomington South 47 Seymour 0 (under two minutes, 3rd) South's D scored on a pick-6.

Bloomington South 40 Seymour 0 (4:40. 3rd) South scored on a punt return. There's a running clock for the rest of the game.

Bloomington South 33 Seymour 0 (6:20, 3rd) South scored on a pass from Jarrin Alley to D'Andre Black. Two-point conversion try was no good.

Bloomington South 27 Seymour 0 (10:00, 3rd) After having a lackluster first half on offense (IMO), South looked sharp coming out of halftime and went on a long drive for a score.

Bloomington South 20 Seymour 0 (half) Despite the halftime score, South's offense didn't look sharp at all in the first half with the game being played almost entirely on Seymour's side of the field in the half. The defense was outstanding and kept Seymour's strong passing attack bottled up deep in Owls' territory. South will get the ball when the 2nd half starts.

Bloomington South 13 Seymour 0 (11:00, 2nd) South had a first down inside the Owls 10-yard line but a major penalty pushed them back and they settled for a 42-yard FG.

Edgewood 7 Brown County 6 (2:23, 1st)
