  1. Columbus North 34 Bloomington North 21 (half) No defense in this game at CN on their Senior Night. The first half was permeated by big plays by both teams as the score indicates.
  2. Bloomington South 46 Columbus North 15 (final) The Panthers are the outright Conference Indiana champs.
  3. Bloomington South 46 Columbus North 15 (1:00, 4th) South's DBs were laying back allowing the short passes as CN was methodically driving down the field until they went to the well once too often and South's Drew Crum-Hieftje picked them and returned it 98 yards for a score. PAT was good this time.
  4. Bloomington South 39 Columbus North 15 (3:02, 4th) South goes on a long drive scoring on a one yard run to kill any slim hope the Bull Dogs had of coming back in the game. South missed the PAT for the second straight TD something they usually don't do.
  5. I corrected that in an earlier post in that the extra point on that last TD by South looked good to me, but it was ruled no good which I obviously missed.
  6. Bloomington South 33 Columbus North 15 (end of 3rd)
  7. Bloomington South 33 Columbus North 15 (2:23, 3rd) South is starting to get sloppy on special teams and on pass defense after getting that big lead. They gave up a kickoff return to their 37 yard line on CN's first TD, and then after giving up a punt return also to their 37 yard line, they gave up a 37-yard TD pass to Cooper Horn on a trick play. The two-point conversion attempt was no good.
  8. Owen Valley 55 Eastern Greene 7 (time ?)
  9. Bloomington South 33 Columbus North 9 (5:24, 3rd) The Bull Dogs reached the end zone for the first time tonight on a 32-yard TD catch by Cooper Horn. Two-point conversion attempt failed. Correction on South's last TD. The PAT was ruled no good.
  10. Bloomington South 34 Columbus North 3 (7:46, 3rd) After receiving the kickoff after the safety, South drove methodically down the short field, and scored on a 17-yard QB keeper by Zach David which fooled everyone as he went left and untouched into the end zone.
  11. Bloomington South 26 Columbus North 3 (9:26, 3rd) CN opened the 3rd by going backwards in their territory and eventually getting called for intentional grounding in the end zone resulting in a safety for South.
  12. Bloomington South 24 Columbus North 3 (half) In a sloppy end to the half, South picked CN at the Bull Dog 37-yard line but turned around and gave the ball back to CN on a strip sack at the South 45-yard line. CN managed to drive to the South 9-yard line with 5 seconds left in the half and they lined up for what was a fake FG attempt and the pass was picked by South to end the half. CN will get the ball when the 3rd starts.
  13. Bloomington South 24 Columbus North 3 (2:48, 2nd) South scores on a short running play after completing a 59-yard pass.
  14. Bloomington South 17 Columbus North 3 (4:46, 2nd) South scores on a 23-yard QB keeper by backup QB South's starting QB Zach David is okay since they use Alley a lot on specific plays.
  15. Bloomington South 10 Columbus North 3 (9:11, 2nd) South drives to the CN 4-yard line but ends up kicking a 22 yard FG.
  16. Bloomington South 7 Columbus North 3 (end of 1st) South has the ball at the CN 32-yard line when the 2nd qtr starts.
  17. Bloomington South 7 Columbus North 3 (3:39, 1st) CN drove to the South 13-yard line in their opening possession but had to settle for a 30 yard FG.
  18. Bloomington South 7 Columbus North 0 (8:28, 1st) South received the opening kickoff and went 73 yards on a sustained drive, scoring on a 12-yard QB keeper by Zach David.
  19. Bloomington North 49 New Albany 7 (final)
  20. Bloomington North 49 New Albany 7 (under 4 minutes to play) With a running clock, New Albany fumbled the ball away and the Cougars scored again on a run by back-up running back Nolan Coy.
  21. Bloomington North 42 New Albany 7 (7:15, 4th) Running clock for what is left of the game and it's a good thing since things started getting chippy with New Albany getting frustrated with how the game has gone. The Bulldogs got hit with two PFs on the same play on that drive and a Bulldog player was ejected after he yanked the helmet off of North running back Cody Mikulich and threw it at Mikulich. I didn't catch the entire name of the player ejected but his last name was Williams on the defense.
  22. Bloomington North 35 New Albany 7 (11:41, 4th) To start the 4th, North's Cody Mikulich went 43 yards on a run and then North scored on an 18-yard pass to push the lead up.
  23. Bloomington North 28 New Albany 7 (end of 3rd) North has the ball near their 40 yard line to start the 4th. The Bulldog's Dakota Johnson has had a big game carrying the ball with over 140 yards so far, but it just hasn't equated to any points for NA other than their 2nd qtr score.
  24. Martinsville 35 Whiteland 14 (late 4th) It looks like 5A No. 1 is about to lose their first game of the season.
  25. Bloomington South 44 Southport 7 (final) It was a running clock to start the 2nd half and this is South's 4th straight game with a running clock with the Panthers being on the positive side of the running clock.
