  1. I wasn’t trying to turn this into a Basketball thread, I’m just saying that I had it to look forward to.
  2. If you look a their records the last 5-7 years, it’s pretty impressive.
  3. I mean, it’s pretty good. Probably top 5 this season. One of the best coaches in the State. One of the biggest teams in the state starting with their 7 foot Center and their 2 6”6 Forwards. Going to be a really good year for those guys.
  4. That’s basically what I said. 😆. I didn’t say FC had the better team. I just felt they had a lot of talent. They should’ve played better vs East and Elder. Not even saying they should’ve won. But they should’ve been in those games. That’s just my own opinion. Come to a Floyd Central game. It’s a great crowd and a great environment. Untill after Halftime. Half the crowd leaves after the Marching Band and Dazzlers have performed. They’re more worried about shooting off fireworks and selling T-Shirts then they are winning Football games. Thank Goodness we have a top tier basketball program. It’ll be a sad day when Todd Sturgeon decides to retire.
  5. I thought their O-line did a pretty good job. Both the tailbacks are solid.
  6. East won 35-7 because of coaching. And if Gaddis were still the Head Coach, they’d have beaten Seymour and New Albany.
  7. I think so. Floyd graduated something like 3 D-1 recruits and a bunch of D-3 guys. Some have said that it was their most talented team since the 1998 team. They had the best QB in the conference. The best RB in the conference. The best WR in the conference. The best OT in the conference. The best C in the conference. The best DE in the conference. If that team had been coached by Bob Gaddis, they wouldn’t have lost untill Semi-State. That’s my opinion. If anyone doesn’t like it, idc.
  8. Who said they would “roll over.” It’s just a gut feeling. I’m not even saying that Floyd Central is the better team. Just a hunch they’ll win that game.
  9. I watched the end of that. Good stand by Jeffersonville in the OT period.
  10. The good news is, I think Floyd Central will beat BNL next Friday night. That will be their best win of the season.
  11. Congrats to East and all my East posters on here. I’m not happy with the result, but this has become the norm for Floyd Central fans. Snatching defeat from winnable games.
  12. He’s gonna be a stud. He’s young. Still makes mistakes. But he will be really good as a Jr/Sr.
  13. Braggs playcalling is just laughable. 2 years in a row he’s going to lose to this team, having the better roster.
  14. Imagine playing a team that can’t cover anyone 20 yds down the field, but run a dive on every 1st down.
  15. Ridiculous officiating. Flag gets thrown for a blatant holding on a WR. Officials huddle. Flag is picked up. 😆
  16. What a terrible spot on 4th down! Wow! Easily a half yard short.
  17. This is the worst East team that I’ve ever seen. I’d put 9 guys in the box and call it a day.
  18. Good call by Bragg there. Like I said, they’ve looked better since they haven’t had to play powerhouse programs(not counting Silver Creek as one though.)
  19. Why would there be? It’s a rebuilding team playing 60 miles away? What I expected. Floyd is built around their defense which is older. They’re young on offense.
  20. Tristan Robertson has the talent to be a really good QB. He had 3 TD passes in the 2nd half last week. Will that translate tonight? Who knows? He’s a Sophomore making his 3rd career start.
  21. Well I haven’t really changed my East/Floyd Central analysis much. I’m still anticipating that East wins a close one. Floyd Centrals defense has played pretty well this season. And they have a nice QB/RB/WR trio with Robertson,Bernardi, and Branham. That’s going to be a good group going forward and I think they’ll play even better down the stretch.
  22. I don’t think Floyd Central will beat East. I’d feel more confident if the game was in Wiegleb Stadium. I think we’ll have a good chance next season. Because quite frankly, even when we have a pretty good team, we just don’t play well vs them. I expect 3 fumbles in the 1st qtr of that game. Or we’ll have our whole O-line get hurt this week or something crazy like that. I still remember Kyle Bramble dominating them as a Junior and FCHS looked like they were going to be in good shape to win that game and a kid dive tackles him and he sprains his ankle. Last year, the leading WR in the state who was on fire, has a season ending practice injury 2 days before the game. While we are definitely playing better, something will go wrong and East will win. It’s inevitable. It’s going to take a horrible, and I mean horrible East team, for us to get past them.
  23. Records never tell the whole story. I’ve been watching this game long enough to understand that.
