Should be a good game next week. New Albany is the better team on paper, I’ll admit that. But in this rivalry, you can throw all that out the window. They’ll battle the crap out of each other.

If Floyd beats NA on the road, I’m calling Floyd the HHC champion. Lol.

I’m bored. I’ll do some capsules. East at Jeffersonville: Similar to Floyd Central, another situation where East had to play a powerhouse, and now gets to come back to the friendlier HHC. Jeffersonville has some weapons. They beat a good Silver Creek team 2 weeks ago. But East is the better team. And should be able to score 30+ in this game. Jennings County at Floyd Central: Should be the worst team FC has seen so far. Will be a good game for them to kind of work on certain things. Maybe try to get Bernardi going a little more at RB. I don’t think JC will move the ball much vs this defense. I do like Hayden, the QB from JC. Madison at BNL: Should be the best game of this group. I like BNL to win at home. Their offense has potential if they can stay in sync. Madison isn’t as bad as they have been. They have some weapons on offense. Should be a good game. New Albany at Seymour: For some reason, New Albany being upset up there wouldn’t suprise me. But this veteran New Albany team has answered the bell in conference all season. I think they’ll be able to get the W up there, setting up a real big showdown in the County next week.

Could be won by literally anyone.

Well, my inflated ego notwithstanding, I was proud of how Floyd Central played. I will give credit to Coach Bragg because he had his team ready from the opening kickoff. I don’t think BNL is a bad team, but Floyd Centrals defense is pretty damn good. They’ll bend a little bit but not break. Against East they broke a lot more than what they should have. Floyd Central coming in was probably one of the best 1-5 teams in the state. I mean they’ve lost 3 games to teams ranked top 10 in 6A Kentucky. I think they would have beaten Seymour had that game been played instead of Davies County. Our Offensive Line pretty much controlled the line of scrimmage. Robertson was efficient outside of 1 throw and we had 3 guys really run the ball well. I like the Loudon kid from BNL a lot, I think he’ll be a really good QB the next few years. I’m interested to see if we can hang with New Albany in 2 weeks.

FC 24 BNL 13 Final I saw this coming a mile away. FC has a strong defense. BNL does not. FCs defense gave up 6 points total. No TDs. FC should take care of JC and then that NA game will be the Conference Championship game.

TD Floyd Central. FC 24. BNL 13. FC really running the ball well.

Halftime. FC 17. BNL 10. FC defense has held BNL to 3 points.

FG FC. Bad execution after a 42 yd pass by Robertson. FC 17 BNL 10.

FG from BNL. FC 14 BNL 10. FG looked like it was outside and above the pole, but they called it good. About 4 mins left in the half.

3 and out BNL. BNL Punting.

Touchdown FC. Another strong drive. FC 14. BNL 7. Should be 21-0.

End of the 1st. FC 7. BNL 7. FC driving once again. Robertson has been strong other than one pass that got the route jumped. Well the the truth is, they gave him Glesings spot. Which is why they hired internally. So basically, they brought that guy in instead of making an external coaching hire.

Idk? You tell me. Lol. They pay $ for a proven Strength and Conditioning coach.

BNL pick 6, FC was about to score again. Terrible throw by Robertson. FC 7. BNL 7. BNL hasn’t looked good. That was a Christmas gift.

Touchdown Highlanders! Through the BNL defense like Swiss Cheese. FC 7, BNL 0.

That’s another thing. Not only has everyone crapped on FC all season after playing the hardest schedule in the conference, they’ve also had more injuries than anyone in the conference. I can’t wait till next season.

Don’t worry man. Floyd Central is missing 17 players tonight. So I’m sure you’ll get your coveted win, that you guys haven’t had in several years.

Silver Creek is a good team. East is still the best team in this conference. Idc what BNL did to Jeffersonville. I’ve re-watched their games vs Seymour and JC on YouTube. BNL plays very little defense. Their offense is their best unit but they only scored 16 pts vs a bad New Albany defense. They could win this game tonight, but I’ll be very disappointed if they do.

Floyd Centrals one win was over Jeffersonville because their schedule is brutal. I wish they could’ve played BNLs schedule up to this point. Seymour? Jennings County? C’mon.

It’s a competitive Conference. Besides JC, all these teams are close. We might beat BNL and New Albany or just as well lose to both. It’s been that kind of year in the HHC.

No disrespect to BNL. But I like Tristan Robertson vs BNLs defense more than I like Brye Lewis vs FCs defense. Our weakness is against POWER RUNNING teams. Silver Creek and East were able to move the line of scrimmage. Finesse teams like Davies County and Jeffersonville had trouble. BNL is a finesse team. I like this matchup for Floyd. It could go either way though.

I’m not really in the pick em. But I’ll do some analysis just for fun. East vs Chatard. I really do think East is starting to figure it out. FC didn’t play terribly, outside of a couple bad passes in the Redzone. The East running game is getting better. I think Chatard wins this game but I expect that East will hang around in that game for a while. Seymour vs Jennings County. JC is pretty much a win for everyone. 1 step forward, and 2 steps back. Seymour is an enigma. They can play well one week and not so well the week after. You never know with them? It’s been that way since Goodman left. Seymour here. FC vs BNL. BNL fans probably feel like they should get this one. And I’d be obliged to agree if this game were up there. But FC seems to be getting better by the week, and the schedule softening helps as well. FC hasn’t won a game at home this season. Should be a good crowd on hand, and BNL has a very dangerous QB. However Robertson is the next QB star in this conference and I predict that him and WR Branham have big games. FC in a close one. Game of the week. Jeffersonville vs New Albany. I’m picking Jeffersonville in an upset. New Albany loves to stub their toe. And Steve Cooley teams are known for it. They’re going to lose 1 more HHC game. Either this one, or against FC. I’m picking this one. Jeffersonvilles defense did a great job vs Silver Creek. I think Silver Creek is better than New Albany and Jeffersonville was able to beat them on the road. Jeffersonville in a close one. And before any of my fans bust my chops, these are only “my opinions.” I don’t claim to be an all knowing expert or a Nostradamus of Football. Just throwing that out there.
