  1. We came out of halftime and recovered an onside kick. Scored a TD. Recovered another onside kick. Scored another TD. Coach Bragg has some big ass nuts. He's the most aggressive HS coach I've seen around here and I love it. He will onside kick, fake punt, flea flicker, fake PAT at any time, during any game. The guy never plays "not to lose."
  2. Thats fair. Really, other than about 5 minutes of game action, FC flat out dominated them.
  3. Let's give a shoutout to Jeffersonville for stomping on FCs logo before the game and then getting stomped for 48 mins.
  4. Columbus East (2-2, 2-0 HHC) at New Albany (3-1, 2-0 HHC) East. They're a legit conference contender. NA hasn't beaten anyone with a pulse yet. Jeffersonville (3-1, 2-0 HHC) at Floyd Central (2-1, 1-0 HHC) Im taking FC since it's at home. Dont get me wrong. I'm more nervous about this game then I was weeks ago. Seymour (1-3, 0-3 HHC) at BNL (0-4, 0-2 HHC) Seymour. They aren't bad. They just lack experience. Jennings County (0-4) at Madison (2-2) Madison. They are better than they usually are.
  5. You'll blowout FCs freshman team. It's a really bad team. Thankfully our Sophomore class and 8th grade are really good.
  6. I'm a little worried about East. I'm glad that game is down here. Looks like Vogels best team so far.
  7. Line Judge. Whatever. The guy towards the sideline. The guy that kept throwing flags at stuff happening far away from him. I thought maybe he had a kid on the team or something?
  8. Good win for Jeffersonville. We'll see em next week.
  9. Doesn't matter now. Floyd made them irrelevant. Especially the side judge.
  10. 50-22. 43 unanswered. They came out flat. Seymour came out juiced for Homecoming. Bragg and his staff coached one of their best games IMO. Some of their adjustments and game management was beautiful.
  11. 43-22. Another Robertson TD after an INT.
  12. 28 unanswered for FC after a 54 Robertson scamper. 36-22.
  13. Bragg pulls some good stuff out of his bag of tricks. 22-22 at half.
  14. 22-14 Seymour. FC has 12 penalties.
  15. 9 penalties on FC. 1 on Seymour. We had 0 last week.
  16. Lol. Official measuring 9 yards instead of 10. Rigged game.
  17. Seymour up 15-7. Floyd Central edge rushers getting their jerseys ripped off but no call.
  18. FC and Seymour tied at 7 after 1Q. Apparently you can catch a TD pass out of bounds. I didn't know it was legal now.
  19. Week 4 Schedule BNL (0-3, 0-1 HHC) at New Albany (2-1, 1-0 HHC) New Albany looks improved. I think they have a chance at a winning record. Coach Cooley has them trending up. BNL has really fell off. Give me NA Floyd Central (1-1, 0-0 HHC) at Seymour (1-2, 0-2 HHC) Seymour has always been a place for FC where things go wrong. However, Seymour lacks firepower this season. FCs running game and a defense that should be good enough this week should get it done. Jennings County (0-3, 0-1 HHC) at Columbus East (1-2, 1-0 HHC) East is another team that looks improved. JC continues their struggles. East should win this easily at home. Louisville Fern Creek (1-2) at Jeffersonville (2-1) Jeffersonville isn't the terrible team they've been the last few years. They're better. However, Fern Creek has 2 very close losses to 3-0 North Oldham and 3-0 Oldham County. Both are usually pretty good teams. Fern Creek usually has size and speed. I see them winning a close one.
  20. I love Southern Indiana in general. I like going to all these towns. I especially love visiting the small town pizzerias, and restaurants and stuff like that. It's unique. Brownstown has a Pizzeria there that I love. I like what Jennings County did with their football stadium too. It's a lot better venue as well.
  21. It's a neat town. I like the location of the stadium. A lot of places to eat. It's just a cool place to me. Don't get me wrong, I like Columbus too.
  22. Glad we are back up. I had a hunch that East was going to beat Seymour. I feel like East and Jeffersonville have taken some steps forward. NA is just playing weak competition. Floyd Central game was fine. We won 33-22. It felt like it should've been more like 42-14. Silver Creek had a really elusive QB that turned two broken plays, into long TD passes. Coach Bragg made some adjustments and we didn't give up a whole lot in the 2nd half until late. Offensively we ran the ball a lot. Robertson pounded Creeks front 7. He had 182 yds rushing. Sam Franks the 250 lb RB also had some good runs. Hes a load to tackle. This is definitely the best OL that Bragg has had IMO. They aren't massive. Probably in the 225-250 range for most guys. But they're just very experienced and very good. Mull had a solid game. 3 TD passes and 1 rushing TD. Kaiser caught 2 of the TDs. And Sophomore Zenel Lawless has caught a TD in his first 2 V games. It's a luxury to have 6"4 Kaiser and 6"3 Lawless on the outside. And their #2 WR Harritt is playing with a Cast so basically is just in there to block. But they're hoping to have him healthy in a few weeks. I will be traveling to Seymour next Friday, as it's my favorite HHC venue to visit.
  23. BNL (0-2, 0-0 HHC) at Jeffersonville (1-1, 1-0 HHC) Jeffersonville. They have improved a little bit. New Albany (1-1, 0-0 HHC) at Jennings County (0-2, 0-0 HHC) New Albany. Someone has to win this game. Seymour (1-1, 0-1 HHC) at Columbus East (0-2, 0-0 HHC) East. I like East at home. Floyd Central (0-1) at Silver Creek (2-0) Floyd Central. This will be close. Silver Creek has improved from last season. Floyd Central is well rested and should be fresh.
  24. Nobody is saying that Floyd Central shouldn't play tough competition in Non Conference. But maybe they shouldn't play teams that will beat them by 5 Touchdowns every year. Louisville has Ballard, Fern Creek, Jeffersontown, Eastern, Christian Academy, Atherton, Fairdale, and more. Schools that are pretty good but also might give Floyd a chance to win. Im not sure how losing 52-14 or 42-7 every year is making our program better. There is a lot of support in the community for that sentiment. And the community matters. It's their kids playing. It's their money funding the program.
