I have some concerns about our Secondary as well. We lost our CB1 this past May to a tragic accident. God rest his soul. I definitely think it's going to be a close game. Floyd Central plays so much better at home than they do on the road. If this were in Bedford, I do believe I'd take the Stars. I think FCs advantage is that their running game is very strong. They're top 10 in the state in rushing. I think Bragg will try to eat the clock and keep BNLs QB on the sideline.

I just don't understand why #s are down so much? It's happening all over the country. I remember a time when every kid couldn't wait to put on a helmet. Our #s are still pretty good at FC. But that school and community just has so many people that seem invested in football and in other sports too. I wouldn't lose hope with the HHC though. Like I said, I've got cousins coming up, or cousins coaching, friends coaching, their kids playing. I've talked a lot about the area teams. You guys are right. East has a strong FR team. Seymour has a strong 8th team. Our 8th team lost to the River Valley/Parkview team in the area championship game. I haven't seen the BNL JV but if IO says they're good, I'm taking his word with it. After Floyd graduates this current Jr class in 2027, they're gonna fall back to the pack where a lot of these other teams will be trending up. Should be a competitive conference. Other than NA, which nobody can figure out what is going on there? Steve Cooley is a pretty respectable couch, but that talent pipeline seems pretty dry. But FT is right. We are so far away from competing with the conferences up North.

Was also told that Seymour's 8th grade team is very good.

I was told your Freshman team is extremely good. They must must be, because our Freshman crushed Whiteland.

Getting Jason Hawkins was a coup. He's 3-3. And while that may not get people all fired up, they definitely have something to build towards. Floyd Central has almost 140 kids in their program (9th to V). Coach Bragg told me their #s are way up across the board all the way down to Youth Football. A lot of my friends and cousins are coaching the youth football and they definitely have #s.

It's a really spread out area and Clarksville is a very small HS.

Floyd Central has kids from New Albany, Lanesville, Corydon, New Salisbury. Kids pretty much just go where they want these days.

Knock on wood, but Floyd Central is relatively healthy. They may have a few depth guys down right now. Im sure East having some key guys down was an advantage for FC. I know we went up there one year and played them missing 4 starting OL. It's unfair sometimes.

I'm not there. He played Linebacker for Western Kentucky and is way less of an FC homer than me. Lol. We have 1 parent that yells and screams at everything. Even FC fans get tired of it.

I would love that. I wish we could get enough conference games that we wouldn't need to schedule Non-Con. I have heard that's a real pain in the ***.

I wish the HHC was strong. I'm sure people would think I want Floyd Central to be the only good team in the conference. No way. I have been bored out of my mind the past 3 games. I won't make it to East but hopefully the BNL/FC game next week can be a barn burner. I just wanna see a fun game.

Frozen Tundra has been trying to hoodwink us about East all season. Bro, you said their OL is small. Their C is 350 lbs. The LG is 325. Lol. They have the most experienced QB in the conference. They have a freaking uber athletic 6"5 WR and another 6"2 burner on the other side. That's a freaking loaded offense. They're in this race.

What's the schedule this week? Hopefully some more competitive games. FC at East should be a competitive pick em type of game.

Floyd Central needs to turn up the intensity sometimes. They won 34-12 tonight but that game felt like it should've been about a 48-0 game. I'm still nervous about them going to East. And BNLs passing game is ridiculously good. So glad that game is down here.
