I actually thought Szabo did a lot better.

James Bragg literally told me to my face, that he wants to play those teams and wants to play Trinity and St X. But go off.

I do love Coach Bragg. Coach Bragg is a heck of a guy. I respect him tremendously. And I know he’s your friend. But this program is going backwards. I have a much bigger issue with them thinking they can play against Louisville Schools and they can’t even cross the 40 yard line against Silver Creek. Id like for someone to tell me, how getting your @@@ kicked 3 times in a row, is making anyone better? I boost money into that school. My family boosts money into that school. So yeah, I have a right to be irritated.

Are we sure of that? There isn’t one coach in the HHC that I’d want coaching my school. Not one.

I think Floyd Central will get better. They have some good players. Definitely not sold on their coaching staff though.

Floyd Central has better players on the sideline. I mean, why play your 6”3 Sophomore QB who can throw the ball 60 yards when you have a 5”7 QB that hits his Offensive Lineman in the back of the head.

Our starting RB is out for the season but he hasn’t played a snap. Got hurt before the season. A Sophomore. They say he has blazing speed. 2nd string RB is battling an injury. Our starting CB/Slot and the great track sprinter suffered some kind of serious injury. I obviously won’t say his name and I’m not sure of his status. Our 3rd string QB/JV QB is out for the season. Our Freshman QB is out for the season. Thats about where we are. Out of respect for the players, I won’t announce their name or injuries on here.

That’s a good point. We haven’t done much offensively. But we did just play 2 teams that were top 5 in scoring defense in Kentucky last year. Silver Creek is solid but I look forward to a game where we can actually build some confidence.

East vs Seymour East may be down, but they’ll still be good in this conference. East by 28. Jeffersonville at BNL Jeffersonville is the team that I think has the best chance of beating East at some point. They have athletes and size that no other HHC team, including East, has. If Coach Parker can continue to build, Jeffersonville can be tough. They’ll win big against BNL. Jeffersonville by 21. New Albany at Jennings County The Dogs can score. But can’t stop a nosebleed. But JC just isn’t competitive. NA by 17. Silver Creek at Floyd Central Toss up game. Silver Creek is the reigning MSC Champions and they are a really solid 3A team. This is a good rivalry game too. But after playing 2 Louisville Powerhouses, this game will allow FC to catch their breath. I really like how our lines played last week despite the final score. FC should get at least 1 or 2 of their missing RBs back. Bibelhouser needs to really show up at QB or they may stick Robertson in there who a lot of people though would start. I say FC wins this in a very tight contest. FC by 7.

There is no question that our team last year would probably beat the current East team but unfortunately we probably won’t have enough on O to beat them this season. I bet East beats us like 21-10 or something.

East will always be the best program with the best talent in the Conference. But I think we are going to see very soon, just how good Gaddis really was. The guy is one of the best in the History of Indiana HS football. I’d hire him tomorrow.

I don’t get it. We haven’t won our conference since 2003 I think. We’ve been second about a dozen times but really haven’t given East very many good games at all. So, it doesn’t make any sense to schedule powerhouse programs. Why not schedule games that your players, parents, and even fans, can enjoy being a part of?

It’s pitiful. And I found out tonight that we stop playing Louisville Male in 2023 but picked up Louisville St X instead. Smh. Maybe FC should just go Independent and play Trinity, Carmel, Cathedral, Lawrence North, Center Grove, Cincinnati Moeller? Hell, I’m sure we can get Mater Dei California, IMG Academy, and Miami Northwestern on there as well? 🤦‍♂️.

Floyd loses 35-7. Manual had a 4th down TD in the 2nd qtr that looked like it hit the ground so it a was a little closer. I thought they played well. Manual is ridiculously talented and a little undisciplined too. Like Jeffersonville on Steroids. Defensively we were pretty good against the run. Got burned a few times against the pass. We moved the ball but stalled on the Manual side of the field several teams. FC has been missing their top 3 RBs which has hurt our Offense. We have a WR playing RB. Our O-line and D-line help up against the massive size of Manual. I’m encouraged. I think we will dominate the rest of the HHC outside of East.

Floyd down 20-7 at Half. But it’s been closer than the score. Manuel got a couple big plays on broken plays. But FC has been pretty tough against the run so far. Bibelhauser has thrown the ball pretty well so far. I’d say FC has about 180-200 yds of offense in the 1st half and Manuel has about 200-230 yds.

Bloomington North Brown County Columbus East Dupont Manual Gibson Southern Seymour I have very little faith in the HHC at the moment. I also have 0 faith in the River Schools. Jeffersonville is going to be bad. Floyd Centrals program is sliding backwards. And New Albany has been building a team for 4 years that is still average at best, and next year will be in a MASSIVE rebuild. Southeast Indiana is AWFUL in football.

Well, when you give up 50 points, you won’t typically win.

They won’t beat Floyd Central. Is the same thing. They can’t play defense. Floyd Central is the only team in the conference besides East that will at least play “some” defense. And we’ll get walked by East too.

It stupid man. Our most talented FC team of the last 10 seasons lost last season at home by 28 to East. They aren’t ready for big time football and not even progressing towards it.
