Floyd RB - wow that cat is fast! Broke a 95 ya touchdown and made it look like everyone else were standing still lol.
was a fun game to watch- Seymour 4 turnovers doomed them as well as not being to cover a pass- still.
After seeing the conference- it would surprise me if Floyd doesn’t win the sectional.
Your defense is tough. I didn’t like the holding penalties on what would’ve been a few more Wenkers TDs, but that’s football. Good luck in the Sectional.

Obviously the only hope BNL has is a torrential downpour and a Harvest Homecoming on the same night.
May the best team win.

It’s Indiana everyone makes the postseason.
FC is the sectional favorite
I’ve not seen New Albany play
either BNL or Jeffersonville can beat Floyd.
Stars are thin in personnel as we have said since the inury bug hit in preseason but I’ve never heard an excuse from a single person on the sidelines.
We will see what happens in two weeks
I will repeat what I said earlier Jeffersonville has a better DL than Floyd.
Well, all I can say, is I guess we’ll find out in 2 weeks. We ran the ball on Jeff and they couldn’t run on us. So idk.

Stars come back from down 20-0 and win 23-20
@Fkfootball I truly think you are delusional
Congrats on being 3-6. I’m sure you’re thrilled.

FC 21
Seymour 14
Final
Didnt care about margin coming into this. We never win there. Getting out of there with a win is huge. 7-2.

Those are your excuses not mine..
But since you are looking for commentary Jeffersonville is a better team than Floyd on both sides of the line.
Headed into 4th
BNL trails 20-16
Lol. No they aren’t. That’s why we beat them so easily.

Floyd 21
Seymour 7

Jeffersonville takes 2nd half kickoff back for a TD and leads 21-0.
So many missed assignments and the same mistakes over and over and over again.
Personnel wise too we are so thin.
And there isn’t a downpour.

They should give you some snaps in the 2nd half. Lol.

Were you at the game?
Absolutely BNL came out flat...after that the game was evenly played.
Can’t control the weather...I guess BNL is better at handling punts and executing PATs and the like.
Maybe work on that between now and November 1. It could be another cold and rainy night. But at least we will know if it’s the elements that would be the cause should BNL lose absolutely nothing to do with how a team executes in said elements.
Floyd will absolutely be the favorite at home and should be, but I firmly believe that BNL can win the game.
The heavy rain not only evened things up. It killed our crowd as well as it being Harvest Homecoming in New Albany. We had a packed house at all the other games. So we really didn’t have the true homefield advantage in that game. Whether that makes a difference the next time around, who knows?

You bet officials who drive in from Salem or Greenwood are dead set on throwing a high school football game.
Maybe it’s age but I’m glad I don’t get worked up about officials as much as I used to. Do officials miss calls? Absolutely, do they intentionally screw a team on a Friday night I don’t buy it whatsoever. I’m tired on a Friday night after working all week. These officials work 50+ hours a week at their real jobs and then come out on Friday nights because they love the game.
I do agree that the sectional is wide open I believe any of the 4 teams could win it. Outside of Wenker Floyd doesn’t have anything that BNL, Jeff of NA can’t match up against.
It also seems that the young NA team is improving each week as they gain experience and BNL is slowly getting healthy and showing some continuity on offense minus the few kids that are out for the season.
I think any of the 4 could win the sectional and Floyd should be the favorite.
I disagree. BNL couldn’t stop Tristan Polk untill he sprained his ankle. They couldn’t cover Calvin Brown, and they couldn’t cover Kaleb Quenichet. And that’s in the rain. They really couldn’t move the ball on Floyd when their defense really locked in. The weather played a factor for both teams of course. But Floyd is a lot more explosive on offense than they were due to high wind and a lot of rain.

Btw @Fkfootball I just like to talk it up and it’s nothing personal. Part of what makes a forum fun.
We shall see what happens in a few weeks and will know the draw Sunday night.I’m not dogging on BNL or anything man. They are very clearly better than a 2-6 team. I’ll give them that. Nikirk, Hutchens, and Yates are 3 good SRs. The LT Bunch did as good of a job on Trace Richards as anyone has done all season. These games in Monsoons are always stupid. I just know that FC is right where I wanted them to be. 2 losses to East and the #18 team in the Country. Now they go to Seymour where they have lost 7 of the last 8 times and usually had the better team on paper. It’s tough to win on the road.

Last year BNL was head and shoulders above Floyd.
The good news is everyone on your sideline and in your stands thinks you’ve already won the Sectional. That is completely false. BNL played tough tonight. I respect coach Weber and his program. We have a pretty good coach on the sidelines too. And a lot of good players.

Facts.
FC/BNL is always a good game, regardless of records coming in. I bet they end up playing again in sectionals and you can't be surprised if BNL walks away with the one that matters. It's tough to beat a team twice.
I agree with you, but unless there is a monsoon, I like FC in that one.

I hear excuses from FC fans every year.
Coach Weber is building a program and you didn’t hear a peep of an excuse from either our sidelines or fans when we lost to Madison.
Tonight two evenly played teams battled on the football field and you offer nothing but excuses.
East struggles with Seymour and no excuses from their camp.
Hope we get another crack at Floyd in the sectionals.FC played them close last year and then in Sectionals, BNL woke up and put it on them. I predict the opposite this year.

FC 29
Stars 21
Kid is fast and you aren’t going to contain him for an entire game.
Stars fall 29-21
these 2 will decide the sectional championship.
Floyd isn’t nearly as good as some are convinced they are.
Sure they are. The weather conditions played a huge part. BNL caught about every break they could in this game. Even Polk getting hurt on what I thought looked like a late hit with no flag.

Always excuses
It is raining and you aren’t executing
Your team of Freshman is just playing really hard! Well, 1 Freshman.

Apparently it’s only raining on Floyd?
I always forget how annoying it is to play here and even the PA guy.
Officials multiple times have had to ask for music to be turned off and PA guy disagreeing with calls on field. 🙄
Floyd 19
BNL 14
at half
This game wouldn’t be close in dry weather. It’s cost Floyd a ton of points. No official has ever complained about this Music. Ever. In 10 seasons here.

Rain has evened our FC and BNL.

I’m at the FC/BNL game. And I number checked BNLs starters and I see a ton of Seniors on the field for BNL. Jrs too. I was under the impression this was a young team playing a lot of underclassmen. Very light crowd here tonight with the Rain and Harvest Homecoming going on. Looking forward to a great game.

We can all agree on this. Injuries are the very worst part of football.

East vs Seymour- The injuries have hit East. And if McDonald is out, that’s a blow because he’s a very solid TB. Seymour has a good one too with Drummond. I think East is too physical for Seymour and it should be a convincing win.
FC vs BNL- On paper, it looks like a Floyd Central victory. But I am always nervous about playing BNL. Weber is actually a good coach. They will only get better from here on out. Floyd has some injuries. They should get a few guys back tonight. Their secondary has been hit hard. Their pass defense might be the weakness on that team. I like what Tristan Polk has been doing in the passing game. I’ll take the Highlanders.
JC vs Jeff-I’m taking JC here. I think they finally hired the right coach. I love their offensive scheme. The longer he’s there, the better they’ll get. Like Coach Bragg at FC, coach Sharp is trying to get JC away from just the ground and pound style. An explosive passing game is the way to go these days. Jeff has talent. And I respect a Police Detective for taking that job. But Jeff is just all over the map right now.
NA vs Madison-NA by a lot. Coach Cooley should be excited about his young kids, especially his TB, Myles Johnson. They have a few good athletes playing QB. In 2 years, that team will be a threat.
