  1. I wouldn’t be so sure. You guys are really good but you aren’t Male. Only down 29 right now. Lol.
  2. 35-6. Males 6”4 Kentucky Commit Izayeah Cummings is killing Floyd. We won’t see another team like this all year.
  3. Floyd down 21-6 to Male at Half. This is the best Floyd has played them in years. Playing extremely hard.
  4. If this is the case, a 3 hour drive sounds better than playing the Kentucky 6A State Champions.
  5. I heard that, this is the last year that Floyd will play Male. I hope that’s true. We will have to replace Male, Providence, and Vincennes Lincoln. Supposedly they are picking up a Terra Haute school.
  6. There was some sarcasm there. That’s not a “literal comment”. You’re feeding it that way because it fits your narrative. I’m just asking why they do it? Lol.
  7. Whoa whoa whoa. I never accused them of cheating. I said they play their starters most of the time. They do this every year. And I have no idea why? But I know that coach Hawkins DOES play by the rules. I take offense to people calling that an “even scrimmage” when 1 team plays their starters a lot and the other team doesn’t. Just because you are an official doesn’t mean you can officiate on this board. Just because you don’t like me, doesn’t mean you can put words in my mouth.
  8. I wasn’t exactly counting, but they were out there A LOT. Marion Lukes played a lot.
  9. I’m all for making this conference stronger. Lord knows that East has carried it for far too long. BNL and Floyd are doing ok. NA and Jeff are pretty underwhelming for the size and talent in their schools. Seymour seems to have improved recently. JC is another program that needs to find a program builder.
  10. And believe me. I’m not slighting Charlestown. They are a very good football team. I just have never understood why Hawkins does that. Marion Lukes played about 40 snaps going both ways.
  11. How do you feel about Weber compared to Szabo. I personally like both coaches. They both improved BNL from being on the mat. I think Weber is building a good program.
  12. My observation: Charlestown tries to “win” a scrimmage. If they want to try to beat Floyd Central, then why not start a series with them? I have no idea about how these seasons will go for these teams. But it’s hard to say they are “evenly matched” when Charlestown never takes their starters out. Floyds Starters played 10 plays total.
  13. Going to Floyd Central vs Charlestown. Should be good. Two good teams. Charlestowns QB/RB is an Eastern Kentucky commit.
  14. Looking forward to the FC/Charlestown scrimmage. Two good teams. Interested to see how they look.
  15. Why do you have to bring me in to this? Lol. 🤦‍♂️.
  16. It isn’t a shot at East or anything. Great program, and I appreciate their fans on here. I just wish we could get more discussion about some of these teams. I’m just a football fan and I enjoy watching all these schools.
  17. This isn’t personal. Are there not any other HHC fans on here that can come and discuss their team too? These HHC threads basically become Columbus East threads. Yes, I know they are great, and they always run the table, but I would love to hear about BNL, Seymour, New Albany sometime.
  18. That another “Columbus team” I believe. That will be fun.
  19. I agree. BNL and NA both should have had them. It was a funny year. Because Floyd ended up whipping NA, but couldn’t touch East. Floyd could have easily beat BNL, although BNL was probably the better team. Just a really wierd season.
  20. HHC pre-seasons predictions. From my perspective. 1. Columbus East-As sure as salt in Ocean Water. Bob Gaddis. Cole Gilley. Mark McDonald. The machine will keep rolling. There may not be a close game in the HHC. IMO. 2. Floyd Central-I like our team here because they have some good skill guys back. I love coach Bragg. Huge fan. I like his staff a lot. Polk at QB is solid. Really quick RBs and good athletic WRs. I haven’t seen them play yet obviously, but I like this team this year for what I’ve heard. 3. BNL-It won’t be easy replacing McCall Ray. Coach Weber is solid and he’ll find a way to put a decent team on the field. BNL kids are usually pretty tough kids. 4. Seymour-I’ve been hard on these guys over the years. But they have gotten a lot better. They will be an upset type of team this year. They’ve picked off some of the bigger teams lately. 5. New Albany-They lost a lot. Cooley is a good offensive coach but they are young. They’ll have a few breakout skill guys. They always do. 6. Jeffersonville-Dissapointing program. Glesing bailed on them. Their new Head Coach is a Police Detective with the Jeffersonville Police Dept. I really don’t know about his coaching experience. Obviously they should be more disciplined. But a good football team, I don’t expect that. 7. Jennings County-They are here because they’ll find a way to beat Madison. It could be their only conference win unless they can beat Jeffersonville. 8. Madison-I really feel bad for them. At least they don’t have to play Floyd Central this year. That allows them to schedule a better matchup opponent. Hopefully they can win a game or two. COY-Bob Gaddis/James Bragg POY-Mark McDonald
  21. Floyd Central is a decent program. BNL is a decent program. But nobody is anywhere close to East right now.
  22. Basically, East is going to slaughter the HHC again. This is getting so old.
