Sorry, I misunderstood. My apologies. I thought you were referring to Brownsburg/Ben Davis for some reason. No room at the inn. It's my understanding (unconfirmed but I've heard) that BD is locked up with Brownsburg and Avon for the forseeable future in non-conference games. It would be fun, though.

May play again in the Regional. Coach Shanley has big school assistant coaching experience too. He was on Mike Kirschner's staff here at Ben Davis.

Four seasons, but I really saw a difference in the way the series was played during his time there. It became much more about the game than all the other stuff. Well, maybe you should have been paying more attention.

1991 Ben Davis outscored its opposition 651-125 in 14 games.

I was talking about DT's original statement. I'm not sure this team's even better than '08 CG yet. Long way to go. If I'm ranking them, I think they have the potential to be up there with '18 WC, '17 BD and teams like that. As far as if we're talking '06 WC or '91 BD, the jury's still out.

Credit to Mike Kirschner and John Hart for kind of setting this as the standard that both Coach Simmons and West have continued.

Great football game. Giants scored 14 unanswered in the 4th quarter to get the win. I really like what this rivalry has settled into. Competitive and fun. 5-5 over the last 10 meetings.

They're good. Not going to be that bold, but they are good.

For the 96th time, Ben Davis will face Warren Central on Friday at WC. Both teams are off to uncharacteristically slow starts. Thoughts on this one?

Furthermore, he, I think, has been reinvigorated by the challenge of building something. Mt. Vernon has been a solid program, but he's giving them more success than they've seen. It's a different challenge than what he had at BD.

I am not surprised at all. Mike took this job because he thought he could do something. He's brought the same drive and work ethic he had for years to Mount Vernon, and he's building a monster out there! I couldn't be happier for my friend and former colleague.

But I don't have to wear a mask and socially distance to improve my diet or hold off from drinking.
