  1. The McCaskeys have never been known fot their forward thinking
  2. yes, addition by subtraction, risky move for an aging QB.
  3. If they are to get big Russ, they'd have so sacrifice a major piece of their D--Hicks or Mack.
  4. Plays happen so fast and it can be hard to make the right call. Good point.
  5. Coach McGrath: “Finch, you’re going in.” Finch: “Only if you pay me.” A few scenes later... Coach Darwill: “The money’s in his jock!”
  6. "San Dimas High School Football rules!!!" --Bill S. Preston, Esquire and Ted "Theodore" Logan
  7. Agreed! The HC is always a very high profile role, ADs owe it to their employers to cover all the bases, or since we're talking football, cross the goal line...
  8. Good luck, Trojan Nation!!! Although GW's win-loss record may not be al that great, they are a 4A school and have athletes. In MWC other news, I heard South Newton is actually going a few classes up and will be playing a 3A school...Benton Central.
  9. Well played, but that was mere speculation, Besides, Jordan was a wrestling coach, not football.
  10. I guess the Mad Hatter is the Joe Biden, or worse yet, Andrew Cuomo of college football.
  11. As I've said before, BC is a basketball first school. With that, it's pretty impressive to see their dome rise out of nowhere on the drive southward (or is it eastward) on US 52 to Lafayette.
  12. Back in my "glory days" of high school, I was involved in an organization for business students. On the state level, WCHS was well represented, therefore this has to be a good gig.
  13. That is a very valid question--thank you for your insight. That is one reason why I'm not in favor this this. Another one, what would be done with the class 1A schools. Have them run cross country or play volleyball?
  14. All good. It’s a dilemma. Sure, beating the crap out of other teams is a good thing, but when it comes as a result of you getting the crap beat out of is a wash. In the words of Geno Auriemma, “get better”...
  15. Question about this: how will it make said relegated team better? They'll still play the same regular season and only 1-3 games in their new Sectional. and it will cause a potential l log jam in the new class as new sectionals will need to be created. If a school needs to go down, it should be their decision as it was Cathedral's to go up.
  16. My thoughts exactly--no one gets all the cards. Additionally, the IHSAA is not the Premier League in England where teams can often be relegate due to performance. BTW, I'm not a fan of the success factor either as most teams end up back in their original and rightful class in a very short while.
  17. That can often be the case for many athletic departments--too much of an old boy network.
  18. Indiana is a farming state, therefore a lot of our land is needed for growing crops and raising livestock. With that, farmers will need to educate their children which is why schools such as WeBo, Pioneer, and Seeger exist.
