What are the scrimmages tonight? I saw on Facebook that Concordia is playing East Noble, Northrop is playing Huntington North, and Wayne is playing Leo. Does anyone have a full schedule for the SAC scrimmages? Times and locations? Thinking about going to the Snider one.
Luers and Heritage scrimmage tonight.

Why the love for Wayne every year?

Talking to a few Luers friends in the know are telling me that Luers may start or play multiple sophomores. So I don't expect My Knights to be much of a threat this year.

Over Andrean, no, but over Luers I'd say yes. They have questions on their D-line and lost their starting RB to transfer.
So your East Noble should destroy Luers in week one.

Homestead won’t be good this year unless they find a QB

Homestead is on a current two year slide. Before that they were back to back SAC champs and a big injury away from a deeper post season run. I'm not ready to right them off just yet. Snider had a three year run of mediocrity before being last years favorite to win the 5A title. Spartans will be back. Same coach, same community.
What if Jimmy Sullivan would have stayed at Homestead? Would Homestead be better than Carroll, just asking.

That's serious. When Coldwater played Elmhurst several years back, they were offended that the Trojans dropped a couple of the bigger SAC schools for "relief" on their brutal schedule and picked up Coldwater. I think South Side assumed Coldwater would be "relief" being a small school. Mercy rule would have taken affect early second quarter. That's a true story. I remember someone on from the Coldwater program using the word "offended."
I did not know schools could pick and choose which schools they wanted to play inside the conference.

If this was 1922 North Judson might win by 60 because it would take AC all day to get there. 🙂
If you know the AC community it may take them all day to get there in 2022. just kidding.

I don’t have the smarts real good so help me understand. You like Liptons chances at a team that gets past Dakich Tech or Lures instead of those 2? Wouldn’t that team probably be better?
That Lures team sounds fishy to me. lol

I thought Luers is the home team.

Bellmont has grass...Advantage-Luers.
Luers was 4-1 on turf and 0-4 on grass. Luers is always faster on turf.

Nice selection of Neutral Sites...
BUT, There is NO WAY Norwell hosts that contest! Wells County hatred runs generational deep! Also, Bluffton has turf anyway. It remains a "home game" for the Tigers.
Luers would have to travel twice as far as Bluffton if the game is at Norwell. Bellmont is about the same distance for both schools.

South Side at Leo
Columbia City at Wayne
Concordia at Woodlan
Prairie Heights at Luers

Dwenger vs Northrop is not going to be close.
-
Last week of closed conference.
Carroll at Wayne
Concordia at North Side
Luers at Snider
Northrop at Dwenger
Homestead at South Side
All games should be blow outs. Maybe this is why the SAC is going to out of conference play.
-
Concordia at Carroll. ouch
Luers at South Side. ouch
North Side at Northrop. ouch
Homestead at Wayne.
Snider at Dwenger.

I bet if you talked to most ACAC coaches - football as well as other sports - they’d be fine with getting rid of Southern Wells. I could be wrong, but I doubt I am.
Conferences tend to get rid of dominant teams a lot more than weaker teams just ask Carroll and Homestead.
