Penn was out coached. The offensive coordinator for Penn is clueless in crunch time.

He was at the southwest corner of the endzone in a black ball cap, black hoodie, and black vest. One of his younger sons was with him. I saw him when I talked to Coach Yeoman for a bit.

The FWC spread is going to be a problem for Penn. Wouldn't be surprised to see Hurley on the defensive side of the ball again for some snaps like he was against Elkhart. I also see Penn's run game as a problem for FWC. I expect a high scoring game.

Moore is the OC. They call it the H back. Watson was the fastest junior in the state last year. Needs to set his feet and get his hips right when throwing slants and intermediate routes. Tayshon Bardo. He's REALLY good. The other 2 WR's as well as Bennet at TE are pretty good as well.

All the talent it going to Marian.

The outside linebackers were out of place often and didn't stay home. None of the linebackers or secondary tackled well at all. Corners constantly got caught peeking in and left their guy open. The safety constantly tries for highlight reel hits and doesn't wrap up as well as almost costing the game for Penn with a selfish showoff penalty at the end. If he didn't have a certain last name, he wouldn't get away with half of the stuff he does in practice.

Pete Riordan has been promoted within to become the football HC at Penn. Horrible hire but not surprising coming from our brain dead AD.

Not really. Several of us thought it might happen whenever Cory decided to retire. It would set Penn football back years.

I have little faith in the Penn AD Jeff Hart to make a good decision here. There are zero good options internally to fill the head coaching role, but one current assistant is politicking big time and it would be a travesty if he got it.

Its the Elkhart attitude. All of the kids think they're the next big superstar and can make it on talent alone. Then when coaches get on them and discipline them, they quit. Lots on infighting within the Elkhart school system as well. Not to mention the school board is a joke. It's really sad.

They'll never kick Penn out due to the ticket sales they bring. I wish we would get kicked out.

Northridge and New Prairie

I can provide a little insight to the St Joe and Mish Marian question. In short, yes, they have let some bad seeds in due to vouchers and more has been swept under the rug at these 2 schools and tolerated than before vouchers came into play. There is now a fear of losing voucher money in these schools, so the discipline and standards they used to have have now been reduced. I know several legacy catholic school families that have pulled their kids from St Joe and Marian and are now sending them to Penn, New Prairie, and Edwardsburg, Michigan.

Elkhart is a train wreck. Poor facilities. 2 AD's that are pretty much brain dead. A school board that's pure chaos. A temporary superintendent because they can't find anyone that wants the job. They have 2 regimes within the school system constantly trying to undermine each other when their person isn't the coach.

He finished 5th at State last year.
