  1. I heard when you pass away your eyes are the last to go, because they die late. 😂🤣😂
  2. Sort of like “the enemy of my enemy is my friend?”
  3. In other words, there was no critical thinking involved in your support of Mr. Trump. It’s merely reactionary.
  4. The weaponization of DOJ. Does anyone think that if Trump had announced a year ago he wasn’t going to run again that this would be happening? Even after his term — in which he won the title of “Most Divisive President Ever” — is over, he continues to be an incredibly divisive force. He should just go away. The country would be better off.
  5. 50 years ago as we ran laps in the dark in the bowels of the stadium, none of us even considered that such a thing might be possible. Yet, here it is. Only the second “Western” team to ever win the championship. Great job, guys.
  6. Irish lacrosse has changed a lot in the last 50 years!
  7. One of the great victories in program history. One more step to take to finish the job.
  8. Irish lacrosse headed to the Natty! Only Duke stands in the way now.
  9. I would really like to hear - from the perspective of someone who deals with seeding as a routine part of the sport - what are the obstacles preventing seeding in football?
  10. In fact, having “obvious built-in advantages” over competitors is hardly exclusive to PPs. From demographics to socioeconomic factors, no 2 schools are the same. The SF is the best way to address competitive imbalances because it only moves a school up if it has demonstrated that it can use those advantages to achieve disproportionate success in their class. Why on earth would you treat Indy Lutheran the same as you treat Bishop Noll? A multiplier or an automatic class bump are solutions to a “problem” that actually doesn’t exist in many PPs.
  11. It’s all fun and games … until someone comes down with food poisoning.
  12. The best football player I ever saw … and much, much more.
  13. This one hit me hard. My lifelong love affair with football began as a young kid growing up in a western suburb of Cleveland. My interest in the game paralleled his career, and I watched almost every NFL game he ever played. On the field, he was like a force of nature. He was the best football player I ever saw. But, he was also much more than a football player, and it would be short changing his legacy to think of him only on those terms. Incidentally, he was also one of the greatest players in the history of NCAA lacrosse. When I played lacrosse at Notre Dame, I wore #32 in his honor. A very sad day.
  14. I’m not sure you - or the author of that piece - have any concept of the breadth of the US criminal code.
  15. And just who do you think is going to investigate, arrest, and assist in the prosecution of those alleged to have violated any of the many federal criminal statutes?
  16. Throwing out the baby with the bath water.
  17. Probably right after the Legislature legalizes cannabis. 🤣😵‍💫
  18. The problem is not that the FBI is bad at what it does. In fact, they’re very good at their law enforcement responsibilities. The problem is that the Bureau is now wielded as a political instrument, not a law enforcement agency.
  19. You know, I’m just going to pass. I’m still trying to grow as a person. 😂
  20. I’ll accept that characterization.
  21. The first 9 weeks are all “rest games.”
  22. Bob James, longtime assistant and very recently the HFB coach at LaPorte is retiring, reports WHME Ch. 46. Just strikes me as sort of odd, since he fought hard to get the job only a year ago. In any event, an outstanding career for a HOF coach.
