Valid. Homestead will be good, they are every year. But will they be 2019/2020 good or 2021 good. There's a difference. The quality they put on the field in 2019/2020 puts them in a good position unless HSE puts together one of there better teams in recent memory. Homestead's chances go way up without Carmel or Westfield in the mix. That being said, I'll still roll with the HCC based on recent history................for now anyway.

Guys like Eric Moore are obsessed with what they do for a living. If you're not, then you'll get beat by someone who is. I don't have an inside track on Northrop, so I have no idea what is going on over there. But clearly other programs are doing some things that they are not. Talent in the halls? That's an understatement. They've been a track power for decades, but for whatever reason that doesn't translate to the football field. They also have one of the better football stadiums throughout the entire state.

That's impressive. I'll have to visit their campus sometime.

And that's a good salary for most. I'm just saying that most coaches aren't willing to duplicate Coach Moore's passion, even at 100k. We all know that the difference between a winning program and a losing one is the amount of time and passion put into it.

Not to mention, there aren't many high school coaches willing to put the time in that he does at their pay scale.

Isn't Eric Moore getting up there in age? He's one of a kind, he won't be replaced when he retires. Center Grove will take a huge hit.

Notre Dame fan's don't count the vacated season. We know 90% of college football programs have done worse, but didn't get caught or turn themselves in. Some players cheated on a test. Big deal. I'd cheat to if I had their workload in the fall.

Kind of agree on Manning. I think it's a lot higher than 5%. But lower than 35%. I'd bet on Moore coming to Notre Dame. He's a midwestern kid from Detroit and proximity is a big deal for a lot of athletes. And don't underestimate Freeman. Already six Top 300 recruits in the class of 2023.

All of the above. Coaching still strong. Neighborhoods taking a slight hit with residents migrating to Carroll and Homestead. Student population down from 2200 to 1800. The SAC has always been about Snider, Dwenger, and Luers. As the student populations and resources continue to grow at Homestead and Carroll, so will their stronghold on sports in Allen County. The SAC in football is officially a crapshoot between those five programs.

It's no different than Notre Dame scheduling Michigan in 2033. Both teams could stink to high heaven by then. Probably not a good argument since Snider faces larger obstacles than then Irish and Wolverines. Honestly? Snider has been winning for the last 46 years. I doubt that will change much in 3-4 years.

Drew Pyne doesn't get the credit he deserves. But he will. Buchner is injury prone, so it's just a matter of time before Pyne comes in and takes them the rest of the way. Notre Dame has the offensive line, quarterback, tight end, and defense to make the game interesting against Ohio State. If Oregon can do it, I'm sure Notre Dame can. Obviously I wouldn't take ND even up in Columbus, but I think they can cover the spread. Ohio State just seems hit or miss to me, probably because you have an average coach with outstanding athletes. Footballkings 35-7 at half comment is way off base and is ND bashing plain and simple. Still not sure how a Catholic with ties to Cathedral can hate ND so much.
