  1. I I don't blame him, following Brohm turned out to be a mistake. I'm sure he is frustrated. Chris is definitely frustrated with the situation--understandable.
  2. Rumor is we are playing Apollo (rather have O'boro or Catholic) in place of CAL, that was just a 1 year deal. Another one going around is that South Spencer is dropping us (finally!) and that may end up being filled by a KY school....we'll see. Things will get moved around with the swapping of Southridge and Mount Vernon big to small.
  3. yup, all the hoopla....take it to the parking lot in 20 degree weather. We didn't really care, then we went back to the school for the same thing....snowballs were flying.
  4. Jasper is the potential game I want. There is a ton of hate in that game and it became a heck of a rivalry. HH leads that serious 11-10 when it ended with their entrance into the SIAC.
  5. I seriously appreciate this comment. I was having this very discussion with my brother in law, "how many state titles if not for a team that rhymes with Chatard?" 2001, 2002, 2004. 2005....among others and a few of those games were very close, oh well here we are. Maybe we recover from graduation next year and meet again????
  6. For what its worth, I am a little biased...
  7. Congrats to our boys for a heck of a season, and congrats to Luers on winning the north. A good team with some excellent athletes. I have to say, I'm glad this one wasn't close. These boys and this community needed this. Like Coach Wilk said, "we love our 2000 boys and Cutler, but we are ready to talk about something else." Thanks guys, you will be talked about a long time. The fire trucks waiting when we got back to Spencer County and the line of cars bringing this group home was something. I've never seen so much traffic on I-69.
  8. And to add, yes we beat Memorial who ran the table in the SIAC of which one of those teams won the 4a sectional and one won the 5a sectional. Both being VERY solid teams, especially SW.

  10. Please, PLEASE continue to underestimate this team and Jett Goldsberry. I mean really, do we even know how to play football south of Bloomington???
  11. LOL, yeah, we got another guy or two. Team is stacked. Yeah, that kid will remember that hit when he is 50.
  12. I appreciate the stats, but you are a little off, especially on the TDs.... oh, and we play iron man football down here in the woods. Our QB is one of the hardest hitting kids on the team.
  13. Calm down dude, we get it. We have spent years playing great seasons only to go and get beat by Chatard. They are now in the class they belong in and now for a couple years Luers is in the class they belong in. We don't make excuses, until the IHSAA changes the rules (unlikely) we just have to get bigger, faster and stronger. I for one don't believe that we will win by a million, may not win at all. We all know that Luers is used to this, year after year.... We have a good team and maybe our team of slackjawed, knuckledragging rednecks can shock the world (north of Bloomington) and compete.
  14. This is how those city folks "north of Bloomington" see Jett and company warming up. He might be slow, but he can sure rip on that banjo.
  15. There it is...I wondered how long that would take. TheRe iS no InDiaNa sOutH of BlOOmIngTOn. Bloomington is NOT southern Indiana.
  16. No history to post....looking forward to heading back to LOS!
  17. 42-0 Heritage Hills. I don't even know what to say, I am proud of these guys.
  18. Where will STC be clowning around tonight, South endzone? visitor stands? Can I spot you by the hair?
  19. It is rare, but it is how the balls fell. If Tri West would have won we would have been playing in Lizton tonight.
  20. I don't know about you guys, but I am chomping at the bit here. We win this game and we make history on first back to back trip to Indy.
  21. 26 miles for a semi state game. That is closer than our semi state last year at a bit less than 50. I'm obviously very interested in this game.....never heard of Garrett until this year and never had the opportunity to meet up with BL before. Sorry, got to root the public school on!
  22. Must be nice, wish we had some athletes over here at HH. We're stuck with what we got I guess.
  23. If you have no kids with you, go to Louie's in Fulda. Their pizza is the bomb too.
