  2. Go Dawgs! Come to the Jungle for SS!
  3. yeah, but it goes by enrollment. Southridge jumped ahead of MV in enrollment, thus the switch.
  4. Yes, supposedly, Southridge is moving up, Mt. Vernon moving down, happening next year, again supposedly.
  5. Go Bulldogs! The Patriot Nation is rooting for you against Tri-West. You win Friday, you get a trip to the Jungle for Semi-State. Yes, I am assuming we win this Friday, we play North Harrison...you guys have your work cut out for you, we will likely have an early night. WIN!!! My real motive here is that I don't want to travel to Hendricks County. But again--Go Bulldogs!
  6. Congrats to Memorial on a good season and what turned out to be a game that made every Patriot nervous, if we are being honest. Memorial QB is the real deal--impressive kid along with the rest of that team. Great atmosphere, great night.
  7. It is now not yet 9:00am and I have been at work for 2.5 hours and have been asked 972 times, "are we winning tonight?" My answer is now a standard, "if we capitalize on a rare Memorial mistake and we play a perfect game, yes, we win by a score."
  8. I enjoyed this with quite a belly laugh, with of course, a toothless grin and one of my overall straps undone (and shirtless). It is frustrating, it was frustrating last year at state and 2019 at state. Hopefully this may be the year that we can overcome all that and pull it off.
  9. "except Castle not playing guys both ways" All the guys we have playing both ways, isn't a problem--until it is. This is the time of year it becomes a problem. We play guys both ways WHEN WE DO NOT HAVE TO. This drives me insane, but my sanity doesn't matter here. But this is one of the things that can get us beat, and does against great teams. I'm not sure how this Memorial team would stack up against CAL, a game I'd like to have back. I think we could tighten that us a bit. That was an excellent team.
  10. Southridge used to run it, and they ran it very well.
  11. I think this is going to be a shootout with some big plays that get away from the other on both sides. Dramatic end, got to go with my Patriots. Payne kicks a FG to win 24-21.
  12. @TigerFan20, not many will fit in that "B" lot--just saying. Since @tango is being absolutely insufferable, I am fixing this: SECTIONAL 32 CHAMPIONSHIP HH vs MEMORIAL Friday, November 8th 7:00 pm CDT Kickoff @ Heritage Hills - The Jungle History Of The Matchup Evansville Memorial (11-0) @ Heritage Hills (10-1) Heritage Hills - The Jungle Lincoln City, IN Friday, November 8, 2024 7:00 pm CDT Kickoff This is the 18th meeting between Heritage Hills and Evansville Memorial. 15. Yeah, there is a gate at that corner by the softball field.
  16. Not sure that it will be necessary, but here ya go....
  17. I'd say getting out was a problem at SS, my son is a player so I didn't leave until later so I didn't experience that. It was standing room only and the field was circled with people. It was like the "glory days" at HH when the hill sides were packed with people. With our new bleachers that is a bit different than it used to be, a little more seating capacity on the home side. I'd park strategically if I were you.
  18. If parking gets too awful or if you are there late, you can always park to the west of the field by the soccer field, bring your hiking boots. That is on the visitor side of the field. I expect quite a crowd, but like semi-state last year? Probably not.
  19. Those should get cleaned up with the graphic...
  20. When I post the graphic later this week, it should have a link for the live stream. yeah, I was a bit shocked by that based o field postition. Obviously, VL was shocked too.
  21. Finally, here we are the game that 3a has been waiting for. Both teams had some unexpected things in the semi....now what? Once I get the cool graphic that I believe Tango was talking about I'll post that, but for now: Evansville Memorial 11-0 @ Heritage Hills 10-1 Memorial is ranked 1st in the USA TODAY, IFCA and AP polls, Heritage Hills is ranked 2nd in the USA TODAY and IFCA polls and 3rd in the AP poll. This is the 18th meeting between Heritage Hills and Memorial and the Tigers lead the series 11-6. Memorial is averaging 36.6 ppg & giving up 11.8 ppg while the Patriots are averaging 39.0 ppg and giving up 9.2 ppg. Common opponents Vincennes Lincoln- Evansville Memorial won 34-12 and Heritage Hills won 34-14. Southridge- Evansville Memorial won 24-7 and Heritage Hills won 43-14. 1985 Evansville Memorial 20 Heritage Hills 14 1987 Evansville Memorial 43 Heritage Hills 28 1988 Evansville Memorial 20 Heritage Hills 19 1991 Evansville Memorial 50 Heritage Hills 6 1992 Evansville Memorial 41 Heritage Hills 14 1993 Evansville Memorial 16 Heritage Hills 13 1996 Heritage Hills 61 Evansville Memorial 21 1997 Heritage Hills 28 Evansville Memorial 14 1998 Evansville Memorial 35 Heritage Hills 28 1999 Heritage Hills 57 Evansville Memorial 7 2000 Heritage Hills 47 Evansville Memorial 7 2002 Heritage Hills 14 Evansville Memorial 12 2003 Heritage Hills 37 Evansville Memorial 12 2008 Evansville Memorial 6 Heritage Hills 13 2009 Evansville Memorial 28 Heritage Hills 20 2013 Evansville Memorial 34 Heritage Hills 14 2017 Evansville Memorial 41 Heritage Hills 21
  22. Indeed, Coach B always has his guys ready for the post season, but I'm afraid this year, they will not have the necessary horsepower to compete with the Tigers.
  23. "One difference is I don't recall Castle playing anyone both ways" The worst part about this is that we do not have to play as many guys both ways as we are currently playing both ways. This years personnel is something that I wish we would take advantage of.
  24. SECTIONAL 32 SEMI HH vs VINCENNES Friday, November 1st **EARLY KICKOFF** 6:30 pm CDT Kickoff @ Heritage Hills - The Jungle History Of The Matchup Vincennes (4-6) @ Heritage Hills (9-1) Heritage Hills - The Jungle Lincoln City, IN Friday, November 1, 2024 6:30 pm CDT Kickoff This is the 10th meeting between Heritage Hills and Vincennes Lincoln. The Patriots lead the series 8-1. Vincennes' single win in the series came in 2005. It was a big win as they defeated the Patriots 7-0 in a mud bowl that ended the Patriots 59 game regular season winning streak. This season Vincennes is averaging 23.5 ppg and giving up 23.5 ppg, while the Patriots are averaging 39.5 ppg and giving up 8.7 ppg. PACK THE JUNGLE this Friday to cheer for the RED, WHITE, & BLUE! 25. I really feel like our game will be tighter than 14 points. Very easily could be last team with the ball wins.
