  1. Zollman is gone at the end of the year as I understand it.
  2. We are glad to have him, this is an excellent pick up for us. Actual release to the QB club: It’s time to add some Red, White & Blue to this suit! Please join us in congratulating and welcoming Luke Messmer as our new Strength & Conditioning Coach and Assistant Football Coach at Heritage Hills High School! Coach Messmer is a former Southridge Raider student-athlete who has spent time teaching and coaching at Heritage Hills, Wood Memorial, and Mount Vernon. His experience and proven success is going to be a great addition to our program. We look forward to kicking off the summer workouts right with Coach Messmer leading the way!
  3. Dude. Sophomore. He was the biggest kid i've seen at that age that wasn't fat. He looked like he had been through 3 divorces and had about 7 kids he didn't know about. Indeed, those VL kids were impressive.
  4. If anyone is interested, here are the TEAM results, I'll post individual in the thread: Boys Fr-So Results 1st Place ...........Madisonville North Hopkins Ky 2nd Place...........McClean County Ky 3rd Place............Linton Boys Jr-Sr Results 1st Place..........................Heritage Hills 2nd Place.........................Madisonville North Hopkins Ky 3rd Place..........................Tell City Girls Freshman-Senior was Madisonville North Hopkins for 1st place, they brought a powerlifting team and this is the only place handed out. There were girls from other schools.
  5. Really? Is anyone in Washington asking this question? I am happy for them, I prefer grass, but as granddad said, "every hog to their own slop." This is an overdue upgrade.
  6. Same thing here....I hear Tecumseh is supposedly coming in, but we will have to wait and see. HH is a question mark for me even with my son being a player. We will be Junior/Sophomore heavy with just a few Seniors out of that group that will be playmakers. As usual, there is a bit of a QB question. I am fairly confident that this time around it will NOT be the "most athletic senior", but who knows. We all thought (myself included) this past season would be a good one and we were VERY wrong. I do think 2023 season will be better and we may give GS a game this time around. As for the small side, Southridge is the bunch to get it done. They lost quite a bit, but it shouldn't matter. Odd # shouldn't be a big deal, just have to change the non-conference games, right? Or am I missing something?
  7. Mason. Why? Because he is from a small school in the south. I have no logical or reasonable reason for this. That is all....just being honest.
  8. Coach Hart should give this a shot. New challenge....I mean, really. I'd support it. I bet they would win a sectional within 5 years. 32--you need to support this, it really is a great idea and has nothing to do with any desire on my partfor him to move on from GS.
  9. This info is all wrong.... Bowling Green beat Southwestern in semi and Fred Doug beat Owensboro in semis
  10. Unfortunately, when in 3A, if you make it to state that means you have the privilege of getting beat by Chatard. But, as a buddy of mine at Heritage Hills says, "at least I can say the guy I lined up across from now plays for the Dallas Cowboys and I gave him all he wanted". With that said, they can be beat, but out of 9 times, we have only done it once. Some of those games, in our glory days, were heartbreakingly close.
  11. It has become evident to me that apparently the playoffs are much less interesting without us in it.
  12. Their fans? I hear their PLAYERS wear pink panties with little pink bows.
  13. Indeed, but if BC wins and then wins regional next year (both likely) they are out of 3A for at least a couple years, not the worst thing that could happen.
  14. I really don't believe we are very far apart....I understand children in sports. I have coached them. I just get really tired of hearing about how much better the SIAC is than the PAC when there just isn't the facts that support it.
  15. Yeah, you are right, I have no idea how this works. 🙄 See the above comment, right before yours. Boonville was a solid team, but....to repeat, "They were middle of the road when you think PAC. And I am referring to big/small school combined. I am not thinking of or even counting Pike, Princeton, Washington, etc. If we think HH, Southridge, GS, Boonville....the only team that Boonville beat was HH and that was one play at the end of the game. That's all. Not saying they were bad. It is not a shot a Boonville, just to say that of the heavy hitters of the PAC, they only beat one of them and that was very, very close." Reitz was an excellent team especially as it was shown by their regular season schedule. They were not, however, good enough to beat Boonville on that night.

  17. The SIAC crushes the PAC? Really? After a mediocre PAC team beats the team in sectional that runs the table in the SIAC that is an ignorant statement.
  18. Ron's Place seemed like a good place for our friend based on that profile picture, but... Yes, Gaslight is good food all around.
