Teacher's unions fight for sick/personal days during "bargaining".  Depending on the public school district, a teacher can accumulate a LOT of sick days (personal days can roll over into sick days up to a certain # in some districts).  This teacher may have had a lot of sick days to use up, been able to retire, and used them during this time.  Depending on the district, he may get "cut a check" for X amount per sick day not used when he retires.  Don't know if that is what dante was talking about, but thought this may help.

This is exactly what I was talking about. Ours roll over, and transfer between school districts. They are never categorized based on use for us. We can basically call in sick whenever, and just use the days.

Alaska’s method is similar to the way state court judges for the appellate courts are selected in Indiana (and trial judges in Lake County). A panel composed of attorneys and non-attorneys submits a small number of nominees from which the governor makes the appointment. In the US federal system, all judicial nominations are made by the President, and then confirmed by the Senate.

The major difference is that in Alaska the legislature is involved in confirming people to the commission, where in Indiana the General Assembly is not involved.

What Mr. Carlson doesn't mention is that with U.S conflict (and military spending) in the Middle East now virtually over the Military-Industrial-Complex needs another boogeyman,  and Mr. Putin & Russia are it.

The fact that Russia launched an attack on a foreign nation just doesn't bother you, does it?

As the Convoy of trucks approaches DC - Timing is everything......

Pete Buttigieg says "Thank a truck driver"......

In the meantime, DC will "Thank the truckers" by readying the National Guard and putting up those metal barriers around the capital.......

    You can't make this up......

    Have you ever pulled freight?

A few work friends of mine graduated from there had told me a lot of the Millennial generation left and didn't come back. They live in Cincinnati, Harrison & Lawrenceburg now and have no desire to move back.

I'm not trying to be rude, but what's there to do for work in Franklin County?

You didn't make any claims to refute.

SF has found that most gas stations have those stickers removed within a day or so.  Make sure you have more than just a couple on you........

Again, buy a Tesla. The gas prices BS is red herring, and a product of physics. There is a finite amount of oil in the Earth, and scarcity leads to high prices.

Inflation is demonstratively an over abundance of money, who controls the money supply?

More Trump picks than anyone else on the current Fed. Looks like @Impartial_Observer played himself again by voting for Trump.

It's really cute to see Tories like you trying to do a throwback to Reagan with inflation, but it's not working.

So you would have us believe, that the going’s on on January 6, were so dire, such a threat to our nation, so damning, yet judges and prosecutors are too lazy to prosecute them?

Yes I do. Look at the Rittenhouse trial. He would have gotten convicted if the prosecution been smarter.

Quite frankly, everyone involved in storming the Capitol on the 6th of January (and the people like you who defend them) should have received the Ashli Babbitt treatment.
