This year will be the first season that I don't attend majority, if not all Winamac games. Sad to see it end...esp this being Winamac's 51st varsity football season.

I do think they need to find a few other schools. Carroll and Delphi make a lot of sense... Huge problem is.. When Frontier, Tri County, South Newton, West Central and North White are bad.. They are horrendous. Its one of the big reasons why Winamac and Pioneer left.

Also not many 1a/2a conferences have 3 head coaches combined for 4 state titles and 6 runner ups.

Also. Im not doubting Coach Radtke as a coach.. Hell have his work cut out for him when these 7th through 9th grades come. North Judson, LaVille, Triton and Winamac have some good classes coming up. Pioneer has a good junior class, a sophomore class that has potential. Their 9th graders have a couple players and 1 is a stud but he's a tad bit older than his teammates and kids hes going against.

Since the HNAC started Winamac has won a sectional LaVille has won a sectional Triton has won a sectional Knox has won a sectional North Judson has won a sectional Pioneer has went to state 3 times.. Winning twice. Our conference is a nice 1a/2a conference. Knox will eventually drop to 2a.
