  1. North Judson has a solid coach in Brett Lambert. Cheyanne Allen is one of their man backs, hes a freshman and is a solid player. They figured out one of the blount twins is a pretty good ball carrier the last two games. Hampton is their QB. Hes more of a runner and isn't the best thrower in the world but hes a coaches son so hes smart and plays within himself. Manny Barnes is another nice offensive weapon. Their OL i believe is two seniors, two juniors and a sophomore. Hampton running a sneak behind their mountain of a sophomore is successful. They run behind Shidler a lot too #72. They've been outgained in 7 of their 11 games this year and have tendency to then the ball over (26 times). They play with a lot of heart and passion. I think theyve had some luck go their way (stayed healthy for most part) and have been playing their best ball as of late. Nj's major weakness is not being a great throwing team and their corners are 5'7 at max along with turnover issue. Compton came close to connecting on 3 deep balls that certainly would have went for tds. So Barrett might have a great game if he can hit his WR'S deep.
  2. He reminds me a lot of zach markley. (Our kicker in 2013). Czarnecki will be better since hes done it all 4 years. I know he's a good bball player but he could def kick somewhere in college.
  3. Cass just has speed, speed and more speed. I think LaVille could have played their A+++ game and still wouldn't have won. LaVille bumped up when it was their best chance to go on a big run.. Id have no doubts theyd be making a trip to semi state had they not seen an enrollment uptick and remained 1a.. Even if they beat Pioneer in sectional next year they'd have to deal with Andrean and LaVille won't beat them.
  4. With that Boot Czarnecki has? That's an automatic 1 or closest thing to it.
  5. Cass Lcc Andrean Chatard Warsaw Carmel Marion Knox Culver Parke Heritage
  6. Believe they did it for 2 years in a row. 17 and 18.
  7. In both games combined yes. 385-442 yards..i was a little off on yards 22 to 25 first downs 8 turnovers to 5 1 safety 17 penalties for 154 yards First game scored 20 points in final 3 mins 45 seconds... 2nd game Scored safety towards end of 2nd Q. Scored a garbage time TD with 3 or left. This is a hill i'm willing to die on. I do believe it was really one team shooting its self in the foot and beating themselves rather then 1 team completely out playing the other. This match up will be pretty solid the next two years. Jays don't lose too much on O but will lose quite a few dudes on D. They'll have some nice younger kids replace them, might not be as good as the kids they replace next year but in future they will be. Winamac on the other hand returns 15 players (individual kids) with starting exp on offense and defense plus their kicker...should get some help from 2 kids that didn't go out for the team this year and 2 incoming freshman... Should be a solid 2 year run coming up.
  8. Haha that's your story and your sticking to it. You realize im close friends with Judson folk right and I know some of the players through those people? Heres a nice pic for you and coach Murray. Im done today before i get myself in trouble.
  9. Hahahahahaahahahahahahahahahaha Go back a few posts, i clearly stated that when Winamac lost to Knox, Pioneer and LaVille i didn't feel that Winamac shot themselves in the foot. Those teams were clearly better. Winamac could have played an a++ game and wouldn't have beat any of those. Winamac played worse offensively friday night then They did against Pioneer in 2018 and our offense gave up 36 points!
  10. This is a hill im willing to die on. Ill say this. Besides a 4 minute melt down game 1. They played good enough to win. Game 2. The defense played great. They gave offense every opportunity to get back into game but were marred by turnovers and penalties on offense and special teams...too many times we shot our selves in the foot. Bad field positioning and penalties put Judson in good field positioning all night and put their defense in favorable situations. Judson played good but should have beat us by 40 with all the problems Winamac had but with how evenly they were matched. It was much tougher. Hint why I feel they beat themselves. Stick to LCC DB.
  11. Most of that stuff happens as i said above with a younger team. Next season hopefully expierence and having depth again will be game changers.. Having 8 guys coming into their 3rd year of varsity and 6 guys coming into their 2nd year of varsity will be huge. Going into sectional i was optimistic but shooting yourselfs in the foot and missing a G/DE like Kyle Olds is gonna hurt. That's the big reason the run game struggled. Olds is a good lead blocker...with his absence they had to move Podell to that position who is ok at pulling but not the level of olds and the guy that filled in his old spot was a sophomore who isn't really varsity ready yet but gained great exp by playing there last 4 weeks.
  12. Game 1 One of the fumbles game 1 by lynch was questionable, had it been NFL probably would have been overturned. Trent Fox had a fumble early in the game as we were driving towards another score to go up 14-0. Compton didn't have enough on a pass that was easily picked off The last turnover was a snap that went over Compton's head and landed in the end zone for a td. The kid that was starting was the one who replaced injured Kiefer for games early in year (usually starting RG). Game 1 our offense did well, just had some penalties that put them in a tough spot or turnovers. The game 1 score was much closer then it appears. They scored 2 tds in a matter of like 2 minutes. Game 2 One was a really nice play by Nolan Shidler. Read screen like a boss. We were really putting a nice drive together. Another pick was the one I mentioned above. Compton threw it right to the DL...after a couple penalties moved us back far. Another pick.. Compton stared down his receiver in game 2 and boom easy pick. It was the same play as play before that when there was a terrible no call on obvious PI. The other was a fumble by the QB when we were starting to move ball a bit early in a series after a goal line stand (after a terrible pass by compton that was thrown right to the dl. ). The safety came in 2nd Q. Weve had long snapping problems all year (#1 long snapper was out for year, #2 long snapper had to punt due to punter having broken hand). In Game 2 our defense played very well. They gave our offense every opportunity to get back into game. Judson played solid D but as I said to many mental mistakes. We had some very nice KR'S that were pushed back due to penalties and some promising drives that ended due to penalties pushing us back or turnovers. Their first score was set up after a penalty after we stopped them on a 3 and out. Atleast we didn't cancel the game cuz we were afraid to play them. You can talk all you want but cancelling a game to "focus on our county rival" is a bit cheesy and quite sad.
  13. 7 turnovers, 2 safeties, 174 yards in penalties, got outgained by 44 yards, and 3 less first downs.
  14. Never tried being like "adam schefter". Its as simple as that really. Like clock work. The fence rider liked this post. I giggle every time. You all say im the bad guy. Maybe some people need to look in the mirror and realize maybe its yall.
  15. I would be shocked if NJ scored 34 on Culver. I don't think itll be 48 points combined either. I think itll be a low scoring game. Ive seen both teams play. Culver once and North Judson twice. Its still very tough to gauge. The two worst games Winamac played all year were against the Jays... In both match ups I felt the Warriors beat themselves more then the Jays beat them. I can't really say that about the Knox, Pioneer and LaVille games. In the Culver game it was split into 2 days. I really believe had there not been a rain delay. Culver would have won pretty easy. They were moving at will against the Warriors. The delay allowed for some adjustments by the Warriors and that's what kept them close for the next day. I think this game will be pretty tight. I talked with Newbauer today (lady jays coach) and he said if Culver/Winamac, Judson/Winamac, North Judson/Culver played 10 times each. It would be 5-5 across the board. Id agree with that. Culver's backfield, offensive line/defensive line is better. North Judson's linebackers and DB's are better. Special teams is a draw, QB play is a draw. Ill say Culver 18. North Judson 13.
  16. The only reason im hesitant on picking Judson is the lack of passing game. Culver can't throw either but I like their OL/DL and run game better.
  17. Congrats on that! I went to the Winamac/Argos match up last two years and man they are well oiled machines...glad to see they got it done this yr. Easy steps young one. Easy steps.
  18. Yawn. Its called networking. growing up in this community has allowed me to get to know quite a few people...attending games for as long as I have Ive met others that I necessarily wouldn't know other wise... And some of them are friends, good friends who I trust. This year was supposed to be a major step forward. The injuries, the move aways killed the small depth they had... But there was some nicer improvements. The staff did the best they could and next year the depth will be much better and finally won't have much youth...they will fight with NJ to finish 4th in the HNAC and will be a sectional title contender
  19. If that was the last carry by Townsend, that was supposed to be a half back pass. Townsend panicked and tucked it. I would have liked to seen Winamac do what they did for the most triton game... Fox and Townsend back and forth. It was just an odd game. I don't remember ever seeing a team have 110 yards, 120 yards in penalties and have 4 turnovers and a safety and only lose by two scores. And since youve asked and will ask again
  20. I don't dislike LaVille but if Pioneer can't score more then 8 in sectionals. What makes you think LaVille can? I predict a 49-7 game.
  21. Ill be there watching Tyson Johnson play. Looking forward to it.
  22. Great game by the blue jays. I was really proud of our kids tonight. Senior Travis Dixon had some nice catches. Coy Field and Shayden May had some nice tackles. Gabe Townsend was a horse tonight, Keith Dell had some great returns and a pick. Jared Huetten played well and Jared Parrish even tho he didn't play was a great kid to have on the team. Each of these young kids have impacted my life in certain ways. Ill miss watching them play! Lots of good things coming our way. The Warriors will get Patrick Kiefer (C/LS), Kyle Olds (LG/DL/LB) and Hayden Clark (WB/LB) back next year healthy and ready to go...with those kids out.. Brendan Day, Remi Schwartz and Jaxon Roudebush got some important playing time. Those 6, add in Russell Compton, Trent Fox, Jaden Terry, Beau Brandt, Logan Schultz, Brayden Lynch, Dakota Podell, Shaun Pratt, Cale Paseresi, Max Murray In coming Freshman Jayse Bentle and Jadon Jones. Should be a fun year!
  23. Lets get 4 teams in the sectional finals! Well have atleast 1!
  24. I have a cousin who played high school football in alaska. 3 1/2 hours, 5 1/2 hours, 5 hours and 12 min and 19 hours and 14 mins for four games. For the 19 hour game, they took a plane then a ferry haha..
