  1. Anyone else going to Manchester Saturday? Hamilton Heights will be there.
  2. Even better reason for Club Football. Plenty of facilities available for rent.
  3. What restrictions are there on high school football in Indiana that are different from restrictions on other school sponsored sports? That's what I'm asking. So far, crickets.
  4. I can tell you can tell. But no one can explain them either, so I will have to continue to believe they don't exist except in someone's imagination.
  5. I'm still not clear on what restrictions are on football that are not on other school sponsored sports. Maybe someone can elaborate without bringing up the subject of club/AAU sports? As are school sponsored sports. School sponsored athletics are not free or cheap at our school system, and actually the time commitment is probably even more for school sports. At least until the students are old enough to drive themselves to and from practice, lifting, team meetings and to the school and home from the games.
  6. It's pretty easy to see why football participation is down across the State if this bitterness and misinformation is a prevalent belief across Indiana.
  7. In travel basketball, at least for girls, a player cannot be on a team coached by their high school coach. And no team can have more than 3 players from the same school. And the moratorium week IS included in this. High School coaches can have NO contact with any of their high school players even at a club or AAU event.
  8. Why aren't there football "clubs"? Is there an IHSAA/IFCA rule preventing it?
  9. Then I don't understand what your beef IS, I guess. The IHSAA has no control over club/AAU sports.
  10. We could go back to 2 a day practices starting August 15, no contact before that, and a 10 game schedule with no playoffs. Surely everyone would be happy with that.
  11. The moratorium is not just for football, it's for all sports.
  12. It's a good resource for sports fans. Especially during Indiana High School Football season, which is the reason I joined.
  13. I personally have never owned a pair of Nike shoes. I have large wide feet. They're too narrow for my taste. I have, however, purchased a few pairs for my daughter and will continue to do so because they are the best athletic shoes made. I try to purchase Keen shoes for myself when I can, and I just bought my son a pair which he loves. Size 16.
  14. @Muda69, @swordfish, @TrojanDad here's your chance to purchase that pair you've been wanting: https://www.ebay.com/sch/15709/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=nike+4th+of+july&_sop=16
