The offense was not very good, but the defense sure was bad.

North Montgomery beat Chatard in '95 and '96, but that was 2A at the time. Chatard played in 3A starting in '97. Jasper beat Roncalli in 3A in '95 Semi-State.

If they're all over 18 in Bloomington high schools, they should be winning a lot more.

PH would have done a lot better last week if they had a running game. Not to take away from Adams Central, because they were good, but a high school team living primarily on the pass is gonna get smoked every time in weather like that.

I wonder why Western didn't contact Snider? They contacted Hamilton Heights and wanted to play on Saturday so it wouldn't interfere with Heights/Northwestern Friday night.

I'm certainly not defending his performance in Sunday's game, but he consistently had some of the highest ranked defenses in college football while at Cincinnati, regardless of 'level'. Even the announcers thought his 3 man front was a mistake, it's rare that you see them correct about something especially since that crew was decidedly biased toward the Seminoles. He has his work cut out for him this year from all the missed tackles and just basic fundamental mistakes in execution I saw from the players on the field.
