I agree with you there. I think the Jays can beat Knox as well.. I however do not see anyone beating Pioneer.

It depends on which teams you're comparing them to? I'm a little younger, but the best Pioneer teams I have seen in person were the 2009 team that lost to LCC and the 2017 and 2018 team. I do think that the program has instilled a mindset in opposing teams. It's great to see success year in and year out from such a small school!

Pioneer is damn good. I could see Knox losing 2 conference games 🙂

They will in the next two years. They may not be a top tier team in the HNAC but I could see them 3-5.

Knox over Culver - this Knox team is very talented and as time goes on I expect them to start clicking. Pioneer over New Haven - WOW... that's about all I can say. Pioneer is GOOD! North Judson over North Newton - this is NJ's first true test.. Winamac over North White - happy for the Warriors to be back playing. Caston over Triton - this game will be close.

No one has mentioned it, but will conference champions not be decided this year with teams being quarantined? I don't see how a conference champ can be decided if a team is not playing all their conference opponents. Thoughts?

Thoughts from HNAC fans/followers which game do you expect to be closer - Knox/Marian or Chesterton/Pioneer?

Knox has some size, they're similar to size from last year. I think they will start clicking within the next couple of weeks, but this week could be a rough week for them playing Marian.

I have to disagree, Wheeler is not the real deal.

I'd say that's a pretty accurate guess. Pioneer will definitely be tested through the air, but that Chesterton's line will weigh on Pioneer as the game goes on.

One thing to remember though is a 6a school has hundreds upon hundreds of athletes to choose from and a 1a (school size), 2a (competition level due to success) will weigh on the Panthers. In most cases a bad 6a school would beat a good 1/2a school. No disrespect to Pioneer here because I think the panthers will make it a good game, but it'll be a different style of play Pioneer is used to seeing. Just my 2 cents...
