It's an exciting time of the year and we're fortunate for all the HNAC teams able to participate in the tourney! Knox 50 BC 13 - Skins too much for the struggling Bison. Laville 24 Cass 13 - I think this game will be much closer than some expect but believe the Lancers will pull through with the W. Pioneer 42 Delphi 18 - Pioneer rolls through a good Delphi team. Winamac 20 South Central 19 - This game is a toss up but going with the HNAC team. Culver 42 Lake Station 20 - Culver will control the game and clock and expect Lake Station to have a few break out plays. North Judson 60 West Central 6 - North Judson looks to get back in sync after a tough loss to a tremendous Pioneer team. Triton 13 Busco 12 - Another toss up game for me but going with the HNAC team. Caston 38 North Miami 20 - Look for Caston to get their first sectional win in a few years. Looking for all the HNAC teams to get a W this week!!!

I was implying that analyzing how much one team scores on an opponent and how much another team scores on that same opponent isn’t how football works. A teams potential can’t be judged by looking at scores.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda... Since Laville scored 42 on Knox, how the hell did they only score 7 on Judson??? Football is a played on the field, not by analyzing numbers.

Knox 35 Triton 13 - I don't see Triton doing much on the Knox defense. Winamac 28 Caston 8 - Shocked with last weeks score in the Caston match up. North Judson 20 Laville 6 - This will be a big game for both teams, but I believe North Judson's secondary is much better than Laville's prior opponents. Laville has scored through the air 10 times to their 5 rushing TDs. This will be a battle of defenses and expect the young QB from Laville to get a lot of pressure. Pioneer 60 Culver 6 - ...

Gotta respect Coach H and his players for not losing their cool during the game. It seemed like Knox players was more interested in "talking" than playing once they were down. Laville was very very disciplined.

Caston 36 - Culver 12, Glad to finally see some life over at Caston. They have some talented, young athletes on the team. Laville 28 - Glenn 13, Big rivalry game for both teams. Nice to see the Lancers get in a groove last week and look for them to continue to shake things up with that offense. Pioneer 35 - Knox 21, Close game throughout.. plan on the Panthers coming out on top in this one. North Judson 42 - Triton 13, Look for NJs D to continue to play well. Winamac 42 - WC 12, Not much to say.

I don't think they're crowning a conference champ this season. So you're suggesting a three way tie, Knox beats Pioneer then the Jays beat Pioneer? Possibly a two way if Knox can get Pioneer.

2A will be an interesting class this year as I could see Andrean, Pioneer or Eastbrook coming away with the title.
