I don’t have the energy or bandwidth for the Everett Case years, but Larry Kingery, Albert Hendrix, Rick Swing, Craig Gallipo, Rowdy McKee to name a few.

For all the athletes Frankfort pillaged over the years, it may take the county schools 100 years to catch up.

The modest growth on the east side of the district is pretty well offset by the 7-8 older community ‘burgs whose school age kids dwindle yearly. The 70/39 corridor is all warehouses or truck stops (and Ted Everett) with no residential growth whatsoever. The prevailing thought is Cascade will retreat to 2A next cycle. Growth will happen, but it’s a very minor factor at this point.

Seen them once live. QB Clark does a nice job for them for a soph. Decent size, throws it pretty well—doesn’t seem all that mobile, but he will bootleg or draw for consistent yardage. Doesn’t mind taking a hit. One really nice receiver in Ramey. Thought their lines were not very athletic. The only rushing yardage they got all night was what Clark made largely on his own—backs had no running lanes. DB’s can get beaten deep.

Southmont has a large front line in their own right. But that’s where the comparison ends.
