  1. I said, and you highlighted, "usually"! Yes, EC went to the Can twice and won once and that is an accomplishment for anyone. A big part of that was because the Coffee Kid could air it out, and beat you with his feet. But I could argue that the Trojans would still be holding onto 1994 had it not been for rule changes taking CE out of their class. As STC has pointed out, stone age football (no pun intended) has hurt the mighty red and black in the state tournament more often than it has helped them. I don't care what anyone chooses to run, it was Trojan Place who called out the Dawg's style of offense. Every team in the conference, minus one, is running some version of spread and for the exact same reasons he mentioned...personnel. If you have size and depth you can put student body in the box and run it down the the throats of lesser teams. If you don't, it makes sense to spread the field and put your athletes in space. But for some reason, he doesn't think it fits the personnel in Casketnation. Are there a bunch of big bruisers standing on the Dawg's sideline that I can't see from the stands? This isn't a knock, and it is not an excuse for the times EC has beat the Dawgs, it's simply proof that many of the guys in Trojanville are delusional to what most teams in the EIAC face. Many of them get it, but a few never will.
  2. Haha...what would a Trojan know about offense or personnel? Every team in our conference runs a modernized offense, except for one (two if you count when KFI randomly runs DW). I suppose Casketnation should run the ole DW or Power I with 180 pound linemen? That offense has beat every team in the EIAC since Coach Hep, except for the mighty red and black. There seems to be a lot of delusions over there in St Leon, but I guess that's nothing new. You're "we're gonna line up and steam roll them with our much bigger guys" attitude usually cuts the season short when facing opponents similar in size. But keep getting those big EIAC Titles and thinking everyone hates you cuz they ain't you. 👍 Eleven guys in the box forever, 21st Century never!!!
  3. EC isn't going anywhere. They would get pounded regularly, and they enjoy bragging about how dominant they are way too much. Whatever happened to them playing LaSalle? EC wouldn't even have to go to Ohio to find teams that would give em a beat down, there's plenty here in Indiana....CE is only an hour away. I think KFI and the EC boys need their own thread. Him begging for their approval is getting hard to watch. It's like watching a drunk sorority girl with daddy issues....🤔
  4. I get what you're saying Stink, Casketnation has never made it to the big dance. But when people start throwing around the term "powerhouse" I assume they are talking about within in the state, not just the EIAC. That is why I brought up NP. When I think of "powerhouse" teams, that's what comes to mind. Not the two biggest schools in a conference, one of which hasn't done anything, leading their conference. But, maybe my definition of powerhouse is different than others. KFI is a flash in the pan, they will soon be back to reality. I said "MIGHT"! I agree with you, the wheels will fall off over the next few weeks and they still don't get that much needed Sectional title. I suspect we will hear much less from KFI and the boys over the coming months/years!
  5. This may be the funniest thing I have seen on the grid yet. Let's be realistic...there are ZERO "powerhouses" in Dearborn County, or SE Indiana for that matter. Never has been! Go puff your chest out to New Pal (same enrollment) and talk about how EC or SD is such a powerhouse. Congratulations, the second biggest school in the EIAC might finally be the second best school in the EIAC. At least for a year or two. Oh, and please show me where Daddy Rod accomplished any more than JR who was only at EC for 5 years. Maybe it should be Roden Stadium??
  6. Speaking of News, I saw the "Stinktown Vaper" lost his battle in court. Nice to see a Dearborn County school with some integrity!
  7. That Kanye dude really knows how to party!!! We were having a blast until Kim started flirting with ole K9, and then Mr West said it was time to roll. KK has been snapping me all morning, but I ain't got time for all that. He did sign my MAGA hat before he left though. That was pretty cool of him.
  8. In spite of what the Trojans probably believe, the Dawgs have never feared mighty EC. I've even seen those Dawgs hand them a loss or two. Back in K9's day the boys in red and black looked like super heroes with really bad acne, but we still played the game. That was back when Boom Sr would have them change uniforms between warm ups and the game. That never really made sense to me, just seemed like a lot of extra laundry. But, they didn't have inflatables and smoke machines then so I guess he did what he had to do. It will be a challenge, but the Dawgs will play their best eleven just like EC. Casketnation has nothing to lose and everything to gain. But then again, couldn't that be said about all of EC's opponents? Either way, something tells me we will be paying the same price for our tickets to the State Finals in November!
  9. We didn't sit around sipping lattes and talking about our "feelings" like a bunch of baseball guys!! 😜
  10. That's a fact. I left at half, but one of my guys here at the shop did confirm. No hard feelings here though, I wasn't really surprised. It did make me chuckle. I remember when the Boom boys were barely a Poof, and the Dawgs could have put up 70 on them in the pound. I think that was the same year that KFI went whining to JR about running the score up at halftime! The boys in red and black then showed them what running the score up really looked like by hanging 79 with their Freshmen. Funny how that changes with a little success. But based on history, I suspect the tables will turn soon enough. From what I saw in the JV and MS games last week, ole Boom should enjoy it while he can.
  11. Don't worry about this old dog, I have enough tricks to keep you mesmerized for years! Here's a quick one for ya...Abra Kadabra, Abra Kazummy. October is 10, not 8 you dummy! SHAZAM! The wheels are gonna fall off the buggy for the Yoder boys, and the Dogs get things rolling this week. It's an open casket in B-ville!
  12. The only one faking anything is Mrs Troyfan!!!
  13. Oh now stanky stank, I haven't forgotten about you. The Dogs didn't show up in Indy. As for the River Tats....Meh, second best 4A team in the EIAC. From what little I saw, I wouldn't put them down as having KFI in ink just yet. Oh wait.... I ended up leaving the Oil Can at halftime. The Dogs looked rough, I hate indoor football, and they had no BL's at concessions. I just rolled back into Casket Nation about an hour ago, and WOW what a time! While you were at Connie's trading casino chips and food stamps to your pregnant cousin for lap dances, ole K9 was hanging with the hot classy women on the Southside! So you tell me, who's really winning? You seem very confident in those Tiger Rats, but I have seen "bad" Casket Nation teams get the best of Stinktown a time or two. It's a long season Stinky, ya just never know. The Dogs do seem to be struggling right now, but they beat up on Yoderville this Friday in the Dawg Pound!
  14. Yep, you nailed it Stink. Missed opportunities and the Indians wanted it more than the Dawgs. Hopefully someone jerks their chains and gets them back on track!! On to Boom Boys/KFI/whatever other pronouns they go by.
  15. There's not much this dog can say about last Friday, Stink did call it. The tribe is good, and from where I was standing along the fence it looked like they came to play and the dawgs were still on the porch. But, I'm not ready to give up my season pass just yet. I'm not sure that game defines the rest of the season for Casket Nation. I hear Boom's boys are good. Could they actually string together two solid seasons? We shall see. I am glad to hear KFI is overly confident, I kinda like being the underdog. I'm just hoping I can find a DD to get me to the oil can and back home safely. Anyone know if they will be selling Bulldog BL's at Lucas Oil?? I need some more of those big plastic cups for when I have company at the doghouse.
  16. I was able to make the trip to TC when Casket Nation Scrimmaged the Green Tigers and Hondaburg is in for a long night! Stink was generous to the Pirates in his prediction!! Still can't believe that crazy Clown had Hondaburg finishing ahead of my Dawgs in the little Conference standings. 🙄
  17. I'm not making excuses or bowing down. In Casket Nation we want to beat EC, and have on a few occasions, but if nothing else I hope they compete. But I'm not gonna give up my season tickets if the Trojans beat my Dogs.
  18. Good to be back Stink. Glad to hear you and the crew made it out of Connie's alive!!! When I heard the news, I thought for sure they were gonna say the suspect had a big red nose and wore size 28 shoes!! 🤡
  19. I was with ya till the end man, and then you went and made the EXACT same point that the majority of EIAC teams try to make to EC. EC (1200) loses to OH (2500)= "We should have lost". EC (1200) beats Lawrenceburg (650)= World Beaters!!! Some EC fans get that and take it for what it is. Others are just clueles and really make themselves look stupid.
  20. The Clown's prediction is wiggity whack. You went from Tiger BL's to smoking crack!! Stinky isn't giving my boys down in Casketland much respect this year. Calling wins "expected"...but couldn't the same be said about the Tiger Rats falling to mighty EC? I'm just glad I can get out of the Casket plant to catch this Friday's game. Had to work overtime last Friday and couldn't make the trip. Gonna be a fun one to watch...I can hear the sweet ring of that bell already!!!
