  1. Welcome back Marshall County !!! Jimtown/Bremen will be fighting for 2nd/3rd in the conference. I don't see Bremen as the favorite IMO. They lost 4.5/5 of their offensive production. Most of the teams in the South were young last year. Clay well its Clay. They had difficulties just having 7 men on the line of scrimmage. I don't see Riley doing much. They lose their best player in Lee and Luuga transferred to Mishawaka. Besides the HC and OC, I don't think any coaches stayed. Jarvis was suppose to come back this season but was somehow pushed out. Think you'll be seeing Riley running Marion's old stuff, but I could be wrong. Jimtown's biggest threat this year is Johntu Reed. Most DC's will be trying to stop him this year. But, the team to beat this year is the Falcon's down in Walkertucky. They return their entire team minus 3 defensive players. They suffered some major injuries at QB/RB/Slot. But they are all healthy now. Rumor is they have a monster incoming freshmen TE/FB whose 6'2 195 lbs. Will see if he's ready to contribute. But, It should be a good year for football. Now that teams aren't suffering the restrictions from last year....Don't know what to say about Washington...will they have enough eligible kids to play?
  2. Can’t say that I didn’t warn ya at the beginning of the season lol
  3. Ouch! That tough and don’t understand why your best runner is not in 90 percent of the time. Glenn housed a 50 yard fumble recovery 1st half and receivers caught some deep balls to set up the second TD. Had it until the last 2 mins of the game. 4th and 14 and they call pass interference. Saftey has his hands up and never touched receiver. Ball then hit the back of the safeties head.
  4. It was a good game. 17-14 Laville. But Glenn starts 2 freshmen on Offense and 1 on defense as well
  5. No faith in your team? Or is there some internal turmoil in Redskin country?
  6. Stinger wouldn’t of held him out of the game. Kid played 9 games as a freshmen with a torn labrum and got surgery after the season.
  7. He’s a good sized kid. I know their two guards are decent too
  8. Especially, teams with little depth and no off season to strength train
  9. Besides 28 gruesome injury. Who else got hurt?
  10. Got to have fun with the predictions and change it up once in awhile. For the longest time anyone playing Penn around here was predicted to lose and the past few years this forum was dryer then Martins supermarkets deli Chicken. Plus, I Enjoy the petty arguments, lol.
  11. Seen a break like that happen a few years back. Glad the surgery went well.
  12. The NIC South would hurt the most losing Riley, CLay Take a helmet to it?
  13. OOoooo...this is exciting elevating my "clout" on this forum, lol. But, I agree with you about which version of Glenn/Bremen show up. Especially, being broadcasted on 46 for all to see.
  14. Feeling a little inferior to Goldrush1985's supreme Indiana HS football knowledge, but here goes nothing LMAO. Jimtown- handles clay easily. Clay doesn't have any depth to slow the ground and pound down. +40 New Prairie- Adam's is still struggling to compete with the strong competition in the North +17 Riley- Washington has the same issues as Clay this year. Not enough Depth. +24 Elkhart- hmmmmm....40-6 Marian/Penn- if Marian can play mistake free for 4 quarters this one could potentially swing their way. +/- 9 Glenn- Glenn needs to clean up the turnover issues from this past week. +13
  15. Many thought corona would wipe out the season but here we are....WEEK 6 Bremen at Glenn Š, 7 pm Elkhart at St. Joseph Š, 7 pm Marian at Penn Š, 7 pm Adams at New Prairie Š, 7:30 pm Clay at Jimtown Š, 7 pm Riley at Washington Š, 7 pm F
  16. Well, I’m old enough not to have been taught the common core curriculum. But, if you can’t comprehend my statement about “We will see in sectionals”. The probability of a rematch of Penn/Elkhart is considerably high. Seeing that 2-3 Portage is struggling and Chesterton is also 2-3 with losses to Pioneer (2A ball) and Hobart. My guess is that the “random” Playoff drawing will pair Penn and Elkhart on opposite sides of the bracket. Meaning if Penn gets another shot and happens to prevail. Then we know Elkhart’s ranking was a little high. And “Clicking” has nothing to do with transitioning. But, I love the banter. Keep it up all week!!! It has brought joy to my heart knowing there are still NIC fans out there!!
  17. East Noble got blanked by a 4A LEO 24-0 and Yes, I still think Penn is a high 4A low 5A. Elkhart is just learning how to click together...Do I think they are over ranked in 6A? We will see in sectionals.
  18. Semantics....He was prevented from coaching the rest of the game and they’ve allowed him to resume his obligations. Better? Lol
  19. Heard he was reinstated after being ejected for the lack of class penalty. And Indian grades supposedly keeping out 1/2 the team is what’s floating around.
  20. Any news on Riley? Heard they only had 20 kids eligible for this week?
  21. Nope, but I made the same comment last week against Jimtown and we won. Previous week I opened my mouth and they never left the locker room
