Here are my suggestions. I’m not a big YouTube fan, since you often don’t know anything about the person presenting the video.

I like Todd Allen too.

I ordered that study guide.

Checking out that referee association but I'm not interested in joining a union.  Also, I'm not in it for the bucks but I don't want to blow all my money either.

The most important thing is to join a local officials association and be active. Incidentally, new this year, if you do not belong to a local official’s association, you cannot work the tournament.

Take Bob's advice on everything needed for officials to know their jobs in Indiana.
I have also found this YouTube channel to be quite helpful.  The channel sponsor is the Evergreen Football Officials Assn (EFOA). The moderators stay up on current high school rules and offer meaningful training videos:

I joined one officials association based solely on geography.  I never saw them post a single thing prior to the season at https://www.myihsaa.net/events  Now I've heard they are more of a basketball association.  I went to all my meetings, clinics, etc at other associations.
