Game 3: The new and improved Rand Ballart Defense (Also competing southeastern indiana fireworks companies)

Game 4: The wonderful ladies of Connie's who will be receiving a generous donation from myself post-Tiger W

Football season is finally back,

To the grid we go to spout our smack.

This week only 2 games this old dog cares to see,

Doggz at Green Tigers and Stink Town at EC.

The party bus is loaded and ready to go,

A pregame stop at St. Paul Tavern where the BL’s will flow.

Casket Town is anxious to watch the class of 25,

The year they’ve been waiting for has finally arrived.

The Beagle predicts they come out with a passion,

And take down the Green Tigers, but in difficult fashion.

Backroads, aka Tuba’s, will provide us with celebratory bounty,

I’ve always had one question:  Why so many schools in Shelby County?

On to the battle among the rolling hills and black angus,

East Central looks more and more like a power 5 college campus.

A quick look at Harrel matchups and what do I notice?

No wins for Stink Town in 3 decades is totally bogus.

The Clown’s resume is superb with multiple trips to Lucas Oil,

Getting over the Red and Black his final foil.

The Trojans can’t be as good, right????? after losing their best class,

But 100s of little Trojans have been waiting for their chance to kick a$$.

Good luck to my friends in Stink Town, I hope that you win,

But if my life depended, I’d bet Red and Black 30 to 10.

It’s finally week 1 for high school football! Lots of scrimmages have been played this summer by many teams along with the week 0 “game” last Friday. I wonder if the IHSAA would consider adding a 10th regular season game in the near future or how coaches would feel across the state?? Anyway, let’s dive into EIAC football!

Batesville @ Triton Central: the dawgs return many keys pieces from their sectional championship team last year. I hear their 6’4 wideout missed week 0 scrimmage due to injury? Either way bulldogs will win in a close one (28-21)

Greensburg @ Shelbyville: hearing G-burg coach talk on the radio you’d think they will be a much better team this year. I’ll give them benefit of the doubt and give the nod to the EIAC team week one (31-28)

Jennings County @ South Dearborn: whole new OC and DC for the knights this season.
Knights will struggle, not because of coaching changes. South Dearborn will always be subpar program. (JC- 34  SD-21)

L-Burg @ East Central: will this be the year the tigers finally beat East Central? I always think this game will be close but it’s always a running clock. I hear Lawrenceburg might have trouble finding an identity on offense. Their 3-star LB can’t make all the plays. Nothing changes even with EC losing 15+ starters (big brother by 35)

Milan @ Rushville: not much to say here. Milan always has a tough nosed team. Rushville runs uptempo. Will rushville get turf anytime soon??  (Lions- 21   Milan- 13)

New Castle @ Franklin County: the wildcats have opened the season with this game for awhile now. From listening to coaching interviews on the radio, area coaches have high praise for the chicken and jojos. They should have everyone healthy and finished their season with a nice upset win over coach boom last year who beat them weeks before by 30 (Cats win by 21+)

Richmond @ Connersville: the Red Devils have a new coach this season. Connersville might win 2 games all year? My bet is on them or greensburg to be last in total EIAC standings… (Richmond- 24  C’ville- 21)

Wishing all EIAC teams good luck and good health Friday night. However….an EIAC gameday forum isn’t complete without Stinky Stinky 1…2…3…???? Must be too busy installing that fancy new jumbotron

Stinky, Stink, Stink 1.2..3...

Back in the shop and talking about the EIAC!

Casket Nation vs. Tigers Are Not Green: Casket Nation is riding high after their best season in decades, returning a full pack of Bulldogs ready to sink their teeth into the competition. They even snagged a National Recruit who skipped over Hondaburg, Stirn Town, and Trojanville to join the fun. Must’ve been the 'Z' in the knee that sealed the deal! With C3, Beagle, and all the other gridiron die-hards, how can you not side with Coach 'U'? This guy’s been making posters for every sectional win, bragging about ending the Tigers' seasons. A word of advice, Coach: act like you’ve been there before! Oh, wait... it’s your first time. We’ll cut you some slack. Stink’s rolling with Casket Nation, but it won’t be a walk in the park. Prediction: Dawgs 28-14!

Little Ralphie's vs. Walking Horse Capital of the World: Little Ralphie is still struggling to escape the 'CLAW'! With 8,000 new helmets for just 29 players, let’s hope they’re getting their money’s worth. As one famous player/coach once told Stink Town, 'They didn’t even have air in my helmet back in ’88.' Despite the challenges, Stink is sticking with the Bad News Bears. This is one game you might want to skip, but if you do attend, enjoy the show, because both teams are in rough shape. Prediction: Bears 24-7

Panther Nation faces off against the River Rat Mardi Gras Walking Taco Nation: Last year, Stink backed KFI, only to be disappointed. How did that happen? The River Rats seem to have found their rhythm with their new Canadian Motion Offense, also known as the Boneless Wing. Who could have predicted that Kitty Hawk would roll out the 'Bone to the Dome'? Kitty Hawk used to jam to 'Cherry Pie' before tearing down Schreiber's defense. But this time, Stink is siding with the River Rats! The Boneless Wings will get saucy against the Panthers. While the Panthers might get a taste of the sauce, they won’t come close to the bone! Prediction: KFI 35-14.

WigWam Nation vs. Flat Bill Timberlakes: WigWam finally got internet service, and they’re already soaking up some highlight love from STW. Big win for them! But let’s not dwell on this too long… Flat Bill’s Lions are on fire! Stink’s going with the Lions to keep roaring—35-28!

Alfordville vs. Chicken & Jo Joes!: This one’s a no-brainer. The Green Trojans have been bad at football for… well, since the invention of the pigskin! Chicken & Jo Joes just need to stay healthy—no frying up injuries this time around. The Jo Joes have been battered more than their namesake in recent years, but if they keep the oil hot, there’ll be plenty of legs and Jo Joes getting some action on the square after the game. Chicken & Jo Joes take this one, 35-7

Stink Town vs. Big Red & Black: Trojans swaggerin' but feelin' a crack. Back-to-back champs, but those days are done and wont be back! This new crew’s lookin' a little rough, almost as rough as the one Rushville beat up.  1994's team gets their due, King 46, we’re talkin' 'bout you! Once a feisty player and a coach too, he coached down in Stink Town and helped us win a few....Only to give up record breaking numbers like King 46 can, he went out on a bang after the oil can. No reason to talk about this or that, maybe Stink Town can make it a game and if not, there's always Connies to tap! Stink Town 17-14!
