Komets2727 Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 Mississineawa @ Bishop Luers - Great matchup here. Undefeated team against a battle tested team. Don’t think Miss. has seen the talent and speed Luers possesses. While the Luers offense is not great, that defense is pretty good Luers wins 24-21 East Noble @ Bishop Dwenger - A few weeks ago, I would have said this would be a blowout, but things have changed for the Saints. That defense is really good, the offense, not so much. The Knights are a real threat to represent the North at state. I give a slight nod to the Saints defensively, but a big nod to the Knights offensively. East Noble wins 28-14 Snider @ Carroll - A rematch of an earlier game where the Chargers had their way 30-6. Snider has tweaked some things offensively since then and has been more effective while the Panthers defense has been pretty stellar all year. Everything went right for the Chargers in the first meeting and something’s tells me this will be a much closer game. QB Sullivan is the difference. Hope I am wrong, but Carroll wins 28-17 1 Quote
BTF Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Mississinewa @ Bishop Luers - This will be a low scoring game with the final outcome being 17-14. I'm just not sure who to give the 17 to. The home team? I wanna say that the Indians get it done, but I'm struggling with their strength of schedule. Gimmie the Knights East Noble @ Dwenger - This game is massive, and no disrespect to Mishawaka, but might be the northern semi-state. Both teams are playing lights out right now, so it's hard to come up with a winner. Let's role with the Saints who had the tougher schedule this year. 21-17 Snider @ Carroll - It almost seems as if Carroll wants this one more than Snider does when the two teams play. I could be way off base with that comment, but damn, the Chargers are always ready for Snider. The Panthers have a different offense this time around, which should give them more than the 6pts they had in the first game, and keep Carroll off the field long enough to prevent them from hitting that 30pt mark this time around. This game finishes at 24-21, and I could see it going either way. This could be a "rose colored glasses" pick, but let's roll with Snider. Quote
Justasportsfan Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Knights- ole miss will be bigger n stronger..hungry from last year so they may win one..coach k at Luersfield in November is something I just can't go against albeit my cyo ties.. Saints-think they only passed twice last week vs the generals..cyo ties again yet if they can grind out clock the Knights from Kendallville will have a battle on their hands.. Chargers- annoying fan base yet Dinan is a coach that schemes up championships..his offensive mindset vs tippmans defensive tenacity is what high school football is all about yet Dinan just has more firepower this year Quote
LC_Bears_04 Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Predicted winners: Mississinewa East Noble Carroll 1 Quote
IPFWFootball Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Mississineawa-Bishop Luers..while I think Ole Miss is good, Luers has played much tougher teams and have that home field advantage...Knights by 5 East Noble-Bishop Dwenger...Dwenger has been playing their best football defensively over the last few weeks. But if EN can get out to an early lead not sure if Dwenger has the firepower to catch up...East Noble by 7 Snider-Carroll...should be closer than the first matchup but unless the Panthers get a defensive TD I don't think they can put up enough points to win...Chargers by 10 Quote
