The players and coaches can't overlook this week, but I can!  🙂  Should be a great matchup with 3A #2 vs 4A #1 next week at the Jewell!

Not a lot of great matchups this season in the area.  I think Memorial Mater Dei was a great one last week and you are right about this one.  The P&Ps are always going to field pretty good teams though....if they don't they are doing it wrong.  I often wonder if I would have been a "coaching legend" had I coached at a P&P!  LOL

If I was a betting man, I'd say there was a discussion about Washington, what to do, what to not do, and that we have moved to prepping for next Friday against GS.  Honestly, these boys need some adversity in their lives.....

Agreed!  The fact that they haven't played one minute of any 2nd half all season without a running clock will not bode well for us in October.

Speaking of "coaching legends" how soon can we expect a Jasper vs Gibson Southern game on the schedule.  I'm sure many would be very interested in seeing The Hart Foundation Brotherly Love Bowl? Jasper/ MD definitely game of the week.  I'm going with Jasper -3. MD will still be licking their wounds from that last minute collapse at Enlow.  OUCH!  I know their SIAC but lets face it... not much to talk about in the PAC this week IMO.

With the SIAC only getting one non-conference game, I am guessing there are more interesting historical rivalries that the Jasper fans would like to see.
