Loss of Down Penalties

Didn't want to derail CA1's thread about illegal punt, but it made me wonder....which penalties are enforced with a LOD?  I'm sure I would guess some correctly, but not others....

Any of the illegal forward pass fouls carry a loss of down provision, as does illegal forward handing of the ball, and illegal touching.

I had my first int.grounding call last week, gun, snap over the QB’s head, look out blocking scheme, QB threw the ball about 20 yards behind the LOS right into the ground 15’ in front of him. That’s a 25 yard foul AND loss of down. THAT’S HARSH!

Did your wing official come up and report that the pass didn’t make the NZ? 😂🤣

I did confer with wing L and U, but everyone in the stadium knew the pass didn’t make the NZ, trust me, I’m not splitting hairs.

Had one today that was about 10 yards from making it to the NZ. Went to the R, but he was already throwing the flag. Then we hear......."but he was outside the tackle box"..........🤦
