I think it’s a few weeks out still but #5 St Francis is going to play #9 IMG and many think if St Francis can get the W it will put them over the top to be the Maxpreps National Champion

John Bosco and Mater Dei play Friday and most publications have them #1 and #2 in the country. Mater Dei already boasts a win over Bishop Gorman who most have in the top 10 as well as Centennial who is another top 15, top 20 team depending on publication. Guessing this is the biggest game in high school football this year.

It might be.  I just looked at the schedules and the IMG/St Francis game is the final game of the year so it will be interesting to see how that shakes out.

for what it’s worth, St Francis currently has the toughest SoS among any of the top 10 teams and possibly the country right now.  But that probably changes after this Friday with this matchup.

I wonder what it feels like to be the star players on the #1 and #2 teams in the country and be playing under Friday night lights against each other.  Probably an insane atmosphere
